BFF Open House Link Party

Happy Friday Eve and Happy October all! Yikes, Halloween's just around the corner and from there the holiday season kicks into overdrive. Already heard Christmas music somewhere.

Let's take a look at some of the great ideas from last week's party!

I know that the movie "Hocus Pocus" has a huge fan following. Confession time: I've never seen it! Not intentionally, just never have. However I know the fan base is HUGE so here's a great tee shirt for all you Hocus Pocus fans from A Sprinkle of Joy, and Danielle has included a free cut file for you to download!

To go with your cute tee, you could make  yourself and/or a friend this gorgeous turquoise bracelet from DIY Adulation. So pretty for Fall ! Marie gives you step by step instructions.

Now that we're settled into our home, I'm SO excited to be surrounded by my craft supplies again most especially my paper!  How cute are these Paper Pumpkins from Linda at Paper Seedlings? Scatter these around the house ; make a centerpiece ; make a garland ... possibilities are endless

Finally, if you are planning a Fall or Halloween party and you want to wow your guests, check out this GORGEOUS cake from All That's Jas. OMGeeeee!!!

Now, let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

BFF Open House Link Party

It's Fall "y'all" ! Officially. My first ever Fall still wearing shorts but it's Fall. But it's still one of my favorite times of the year and even though I am still in shorts here in the desert, there's a change in the air. Clearly you are all in Fall mode too given the projects you linked up last week. Let's take a look.

Black and white are my signature colors. I mean is there anything that doesn't look great in B&W? I adore these pieces shared by Kippi At Home !

Fall is the season of giving thanks and what better way than with a wonderful sign like the one from Hazel and Gold Designs. Simple, rustic and elegant at the same time.

But Halloween comes first so here's another sign idea from Crafting In The Rain

I love this,  complete with the Granny Apple Green skull!

Finally, Pumpkin Spice may be nice for a lot of you but my go to Fall flavor is Salted Caramel and Chocolate ANYTHING. So these Brownies from A Sprinkle of Joy are right up my alley. YUM!!

Now, let's see what you've all been up to this week!

BFF Open House Link Party : Chocoholic Edition

Happy Friday Eve all. Hope the week has been good to you. There were some really delicious chocolate ideas shared at last week's party and it's been a while since I did a chocolate themed post so here we go!

First up, how about this Ice Cream Cone Cake from Mrs. Kringle's Kitchen. Layers of wafer cookies and ice cream, enrobed in a delicious chocolate coating!

Next, love Snickers? Love cheesecake? How about a Snickers Cheesecake from Marilyn's Treats? I think I'll have to make this for Mr. Chocolate since Snickers is his favorite candy bar.

If you want S'mores but don't necessarily want to do them outside, check out these S'more Brownie Bowls from A Sprinkle of Joy

Finally, chocolate and caramel are always a winning combination and these Chocolate Caramel Cake Mix Cookies from Family Cookie Recipes are no exception. Look at that ooey gooey caramel middle!

Hope you've enjoyed these. I'll "mix" things up again next week.

Now let's see what you've been up to !

BFF Open House Link Party

Happy Friday Eve and the start of what I hope is a lovely Mother's Day weekend. I won't be with my "baby" but I'm so excited that for the first year in many I get to celebrate with The Mumster.

Let's take a look at some fun ideas from last week's party.

I feel like you can never have too many memo boards. Whether for reminders or pictures, there's always something you want to display. Hazel and Gold Designs has this fun idea (and a video tutorial) for one using bent wire formed into a word. Think of all the possibilities! Names, favorite places etc.

I tend toward matte finishes so I love the look of chalk paints. From Play Dates to Parties  has 4 great project ideas using chalk paint.

I love that Lisa from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S figured out what to do with Vintage Glass Insulators that I've picked up and put down at flea markets a million times. Check out her adorable bottle and light garden!

Finally, YUM check out this did I say YUM Oreo Parfait from A Sprinkle of Joy! Yes please.

Now let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

BFF Open House Link Party

Happy March! The month where we welcome Spring. Hope everyone's had a good week. Let's see some ideas from last week's party!

St. Patrick's Day will be here in a couple of weeks. Here's a fun way to celebrate with this Shamrock Button Canvas from A Sprinkle of Joy

Even if you don't decorate a lot for St. Patrick's Day, it's always easy to do a little something with printables. Lolly Jane has you covered with over 30 different printables!

Spring is always a great time to refresh decor and I am loving this shabby chic Chicken Wire Shelf storage idea from The Painted Hinge that serves as a piece of decor itself, while showing off some vintage collectibles.

Finally, I'm in love with these swirly Zebra Cupcakes from Sew Historically

OK let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

BFF Open House Link Party

Happy Friday Eve all! Did the week go by as quickly for you as it did for me? Now if the weekend would just not go by as fast!

Let's see some ideas from last week's party!

I love a good makeover project so let's start with this tray transformation from A Sprinkle of Joy. You really have to see the before to appreciate the after!

Here's another great re-purposed project from Much More Creative . Again, you're going to have to see the before :)

With back to school activity underway, these adorable frames from Dazzle While Frazzled would make a great addition to any teacher's desk and what a nice way to start the year!

No secret that I love both coffee and chocolate so these Dark Chocolate Espresso Cookies from Jay Tried and True are right up my alley. It's like a mocha in a cookie!

Now, let's see what you've been up to this week !

BFF Open House Link Party

Hi all and Happy Friday Eve. Wishing all of the Dads of my followers ( some of whom are themselves Dads) a very Happy Father's Day weekend!

Let's see some ideas from last week's party before we get our party on.

Let's start with this amazing jewelry box makeover by Doreen from The Altered Flea. I love how she lined the inside to coordinate with the outside. No wonder she says these altered jewelry boxes are her latest obsession!

Speaking of re-purposing , check out this very cool DIY Wooden Pallet Planter from the ladies at The Perfect Storm.  Love.

If you're looking for a dessert for the special Dad in your life, you can't go wrong with these Turtle Parfaits from A Sprinkle of Joy. YUM!

Now on to this week's party!

BFF Open House Link Party

TGIF ( almost) everyone. Wishing all the Moms a very Happy Mother's Day weekend. Hope you all get treated like the Queens that you are.  If you're scrambling for some last minute ideas, here are some from last week's party.

You can't beat printables for coming in handy at the last minute. Play Dates and Parties shared these just in case you need some last minute gift tags.

Whether you want to tuck a gift into these or use as a gift topper, you can't go wrong with these Basket Weave Hearts shared by Eclectic Red Barn

If you're like a lot of makers, you may have something already in your stash that would make the perfect holder for some Spring plants or a little herb garden? Love this shabby toolbox Our Hopeful Home turned into a planter.

Finally, fess up. What Mom among us hasn't had that moment when we've longed for a treat just for us? Sure the recipe says 2-3 people but let's be honest...SINGLE SERVING lol. Edible cookie dough without eggs ( even though I've eaten the raw cookie dough and lived to tell about it). From A Sprinkle of Joy.

Now, on to this week's party!
