BFF Open House Link Party : On Time and With Features

Happy New Year all! Hope everyone's 2019 is off to a great start. After being sick over most of the holidays  I'm actually here on time with features this week.

We don't take our Christmas stuff down right after Christmas so I still have Christmas everywhere and on the brain. I'm not quite ready for all of the Valentine's stuff I've seen in stores. Pin this  lovely DIY Ornament Centerpiece project for next year from Miss Kopy Kat.

Now that the holidays are over, I'm excited to get back to my newest passion I started in late 2018, paint pouring. This Happy Mommy has a take on it with this fun  Drip Painting project:

Finally, when I moved to the desert, I must say I didn't expect to see snow! Yep. It snowed on NYE and it's been cooooolllllld , which makes this Tortilla Soup recipe from All That's Jas a must make!

Happy December all! Hope you're staying warm and cozy. We finally turned our heat on here in the desert! Happy Hanukkah to those celebrating and for those of us counting down to Christmas....YIKES! My halls are about 85% decked and cards went out today. Let's see some ideas from last week's party.

I love creating holiday vignettes which are a great way to use up stray ornaments or miscellaneous found pieces. Follow The Yellow Brick Home shared some wonderful ideas. 

I am a total "Potterhead". Fell in love with the Harry Potter series from the moment I read the first word to my son, and while he's moved on, I'm still enamored by the "Potterverse". If you have a beloved but worn copy ( or find one in a thrift store), here's a way to make a special ornament for the Potterhead in your life from Reviews Chews and How-Tos. 

Finally, what are the holidays without Fudge? And what's better than Fudge but Peanut Butter Fudge? From Raes Books and Recipes.

Happy Friday Eve and Happy October all! Yikes, Halloween's just around the corner and from there the holiday season kicks into overdrive. Already heard Christmas music somewhere. 

Let's take a look at some of the great ideas from last week's party!

I know that the movie "Hocus Pocus" has a huge fan following. Confession time: I've never seen it! Not intentionally, just never have. However I know the fan base is HUGE so here's a great tee shirt for all you Hocus Pocus fans from A Sprinkle of Joy, and Danielle has included a free cut file for you to download!

Happy Friday Eve all! Hope everyone's survived the week. Getting used to my first monsoon season here in the desert. We've been here for a few but nothing like this! Been distracted the past couple of weeks and looking forward to soon being settled in new digs. Here are some features from last week's party!

Artsy Va Va was back with another amazing makeover! Check out this gorgeous Record Cabinet Makeover! 

I have seen these stands at antique and vintage stores and they've been overpriced. I just discovered that they sell a version of them at Harbor Freight Tools so with a little spray paint, I can antique my own and have a cool tiered stand like this one from Penny's Vintage Home ! She found hers for 75% off at Hobby Lobby. 

There's nothing quite like German Glass Glitter but it can get pricey. Eco Friendly Saver has a great way to make your own using broken glass ornaments!

Finally, nothing says Summer like S'Mores but how about as ice cream? Better yet, No Churn Ice Cream from All That's Jas!

Finally, with yesterday being "National Iced Coffee Day" this Greek Frappe from All That's Jas would have been the perfect treat. Given how fueled I am by coffee, this is definitely on my to make list!

Happy last party of January because can you believe next week's party will be on Feb 1?! That means Valentine's Day and Galentine's Day ( the day before V-Day dedicated to celebrated our bestie girlfriends) is right around the corner. Hard to believe that we are at the end of 2017, but here we are. Thank you all, old friends and new, who have made coming to my little party a part of your weekly activities. I truly enjoy seeing all of your inspiration and creativity and appreciate you taking the time to share it here.
