BFF Open House Link Party

Happy Friday Eve all! Settling into desert life and still trying to process the reality that it hit 100 degrees in APRIL while other places in the country are still getting snow.

Here are some features from last week's party!

Let's start with these DIY Moss Pots from Sew Historically. I love how these add pops of nature and color to any decor.

With outdoor entertaining season coming ( sooner for some of us) using the power of the Sun to light your outdoor decor is easy with this idea from Chas's Crazy Creations.  She has a step by step tutorial and you just need a few items.

As much as I love tech, and I do, there is still something about a written note. This free and downloadable stationery from The Handmade Home makes it fast and easy to do! You can print out a set for yourself or add to a girlfriend gift etc.

Finally, you know this caught my eye! Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake from Marilyn's Treats. Oh my!

Now, let's see what you've all been up to this week!

BFF Open House Link Party

Happy March! The month where we welcome Spring. Hope everyone's had a good week. Let's see some ideas from last week's party!

St. Patrick's Day will be here in a couple of weeks. Here's a fun way to celebrate with this Shamrock Button Canvas from A Sprinkle of Joy

Even if you don't decorate a lot for St. Patrick's Day, it's always easy to do a little something with printables. Lolly Jane has you covered with over 30 different printables!

Spring is always a great time to refresh decor and I am loving this shabby chic Chicken Wire Shelf storage idea from The Painted Hinge that serves as a piece of decor itself, while showing off some vintage collectibles.

Finally, I'm in love with these swirly Zebra Cupcakes from Sew Historically

OK let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

BFF Open House Link Party

Happy Friday Eve all and welcome to another week's opportunity to share what creative things you've been working on. Hope you're staying warm ( or in our case, up here in the PNW, dry).  Let's see some ideas from last week's party!

The holiday decorations may all be put away but it's still nice to have a touch of Winter in our inside decor. We still have our Gingerbread Cottage up and it will remain all Winter. I love these DIY Icicle Candle Holders – Winter Luminaries With Snowy Pinecones from Sew Historically.

I also love the monochromatic simplicity of this Winter White French Farmhouse Mantel from My Thriftstore Addiction that includes more re-purposed Christmas decor.

Artsy VaVa shared this awesome cooler ( made by her friend Chuck) that she painted for him using stain. I love how the stain lets the grain of the wood shine through.

No chocolate feature this week but I am drooling over these Homemade Baked Sugar Doughnuts from Brooklyn Farm Girl. Simple perfection!

Now, let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

BFF Open House Link Party

Zoom! Another week has flown by. Is it possible for days to feel like an eternity but the week to go by at record speed? Does that even make sense? Whether it does or not, that's how this week has felt to me.

Let's take a look at some ideas from last week's party before we start this week's.

I've said for years that I want to make homemade Vanilla Extract for holiday gifts and every year I wait too long and it needs about a month to cure. On my list again this  year , so featuring a recipe from Sew Historically to remind me!

Totally in LOVE with these painted Milk Cans from Junque Cottage . You will NOT believe the condition they were in before she painted them.

I don't know about you but I am so in the mood for Fall. This bright and fun wreath from Lolly Jane is a great Summer to Fall transition piece.

This week's chocolate feature: Chocolate Peanut Butter Munch Brownies from Culinary Envy

Now, on to this week's party!

BFF Open House Link Party

Happy Friday eve and here's to the end of another busy week. Hope all the moms had a wonderful Mother's Day !

Some features from last week party.

Farmhouse style is so popular right now. I've been wanting to start an indoor herb garden and love this idea from Paisley and Pugs ( in fact, I think I have these exact galvanized pots!)

Who can't use more storage but buying enough can get pricey. These coordinated pretty bins are made from cardboard boxes! Shared by Just Measuring Up.

Hair clips, especially decorative ones, are another thing that can get expensive. You can make your own ( and get the exact colors you want) like Sew Historically did with the one shown here.

Finally, I'm drooling over these Cinnamon Rolls. Don't they look delicious? From Crazy About Expresso!

Now on to this week's party!

BFF Open House Link Party

Happy whatever day of the week this is! It's been a whirlwind with some family stuff and work stuff and just stuff stuff! Hope everyone's had a less hectic week.

Let's jump right into some awesome ideas shared at last week's party!

Spring is the time for eggs. Whether you are celebrating Easter or Passover or just the renewal of Spring,  egg symbolism abounds. I am in LOVE with these CEMENT ( yes I said cement) eggs from Kileen at Raven Would. Cement! And I love the nests she made for them as well.

Speaking of nests, you how creative is this idea from Artsy VaVa? Look at that cool gumball machine! Swoon.

How sweet is this Button Bunny from 3 Winks Design? Love the combination of buttons and colors.

"How do you like your eggs?" .... "Covered in chocolate!" So these Vegan Peanut Butter Eggs definitely belong in my basket. From Sew Historically:

Now, let's see what you've been up to THIS week !
