Happy Friday Eve again already! Hope you've all had a good week that's flown by and let me be obnoxious by pointing out that it's exactly 11 months from today until Christmas 😂so if you made a commitment to get started early this year on Christmas gifts...

I did my first sublimation project this week! I really like the printer I got although I forget that it cycles through periodically on its own to check ink levels and can startle me. I shared my First Sublimation Project a little bag I can use for miscellaneous things when traveling.

If you got a Circut machine for the holidays last year, you will want to attend this upcoming workshop hosted by Abbi Kirsten. She's a great teacher! Feb 5th through 9th.

Time to take a look at some of the inspiring ideas shared at last week's party!

If you're a Dollar Tree regular you've seen these tin tiles. Take them to another level like Artsy Va Va did here with this Faux Tin Tile Heart

Hunny I'm Home DIY shared this fun Rae Dunn-inspired Conversation Heart Sign, a fun addition to Valentine's Decor.

Living in the desert, I'm a sucker for succulents. Not being much of a gardener, this Faux Succulent Centerpiece from Crazy Little Lovebirds is perfect and works for any climate!

Finally, check out these extra-special brownies from Sonata Home Design, Symphony Brownies made with Hersey's Symphony bars.

Thank you to everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what you've whipped up this week!

Happy Friday Eve, and Happy November! Thanks for holding down the fort while I ran away to Disneyland last week where we had more fun than people our age are supposed to have, and thankful that our feet and backs were up to the challenge. 😂

We alternated between Disneyland and California Adventure day to day and then on the last day went back and forth between the two. We hadn't been since right before COVID and there are some changes to things like their former "Fast Path" program, and the need for park reservations in addition to your ticket,  so if you're planning a trip, read up ahead of time.

There were also a few new rides / attractions since we were there last which of course we had to try and LOVED. Disneyland: Rise of the Resistance in Galaxy's Edge and Runaway Railroad in Toon Town. CA Adventure: Spiderman Web Slingers in the Avengers Campus. Both parks were all decked out for Halloween and next time we go for Halloween we plan on doing the "Oogie Boogie Bash" which is held after California Adventure closes. The costumes we saw on "mature adults" like us down to the youngest, were amazing!

I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween and now let's take a look at some ideas shared over the past two weeks!

Steph Creates shared this Fall "Book Stack" project using something from her regular source: Dollar Tree. What a perfect Fall accent to mark the transition from Halloween to Christmas!

Sonata Home Design has a great roundup of Thanksgiving Decor ideas including these Wrapped Wheat Stalks which would make a lovely accent to any table!

Maybe you're refreshing some things before holiday entertaining or there's a gift you'd like to make for someone. Artsy VaVa has a wonderful Secret Path to a Table Makeover tutorial on how to make over a table! Design possibilities are endless.

Finally, whether as an addition to your own Thanksgiving goodies or to make as hostess or neighbor gifts, Cindy's Online Recipe Box share this marvelous Double Drizzle Pumpkin Surprise Marble Cake!

Thanks as always to everyone who linked up. Don't forget to change your clocks this weekend! We don't so I'll get to be confused for a few weeks 😢.

Happy Home Stretch Creative Peeps. It's GO time! Hard to believe, isn't it? Actually organized enough this year to have everything done including gifts wrapped with just cooking left. Picked our son up from the airport yesterday and looking forward to just hanging out and enjoying time together. I hope that whatever you're doing...staying home...traveling...hosting...ordering takeout...whatever...is peaceful and joyful. I committed to reducing my stress this year and not trying to overdo it.

This week I shared some Hanukkah gifts I made. The same technique can be used for any occasion or just everyday decor.

And of course, there were lots of inspiring and creative projects shared at last week's party so let's take a look at a few! Wishing you all the joys of Christmas and love and light in the remaining days of Hanukkah!

We love seeing red cardinals in the trees and they are such a symbol of Christmas. This Cardinal Sign from Artsy VaVa is just perfect for the season!

This "Hot Wheels" Christmas Ornament is such a fabulous idea for car lovers big and small. From Me and My Inklings. What a great way to honor toys that may no longer be played with or to purchase new in honor of someone's favorite vehicle.

If you're taking a potted poinsettia or amaryllis as a hostess gift, Saved From Salvage has a great way to dress up a Hostess Gift and make it more special.

Finally, My Thrift Store Addiction shared a delicious holiday treat. Chocolate Filled Puff Pastries in Christmas shapes! Pretty and delicious.

Stay warm and safe with the crazy Winter weather that's hitting everywhere!

Happy Friday Eve and end of July! The month's flown by and been a whirlwind getting moved in to our new home, unpacking etc. It's been a serious monsoon season this year with lots of rain, which is needed, and some amazing lightning light shows. It's also felt good to get back to being able to make some things. This week I shared another piece of DIY Modern Wall Art and have been playing with more.

As always, the projects shared at last week's party were inspiring and beautiful. Let's take a look at a few.

I've mentioned that I love combining modern and vintage. The Soiree Blog has an incredible roundup of re-purposed vintage sewing machine tables that do just this. I absolutely love this one with a natural wood top! They're all amazing.

Artsy VaVa shared this AMAZING Corner Cabinet transformation. The color is fabulously named Cactus!

Dragonfly Treasure shared this lovely Succulent Garden made using old cement trays (molds). Aren't they fabulous?!

Finally, I love pickles almost as much as I love chocolate. When I was little and we went to the deli, I loved the pickle barrel and the crunch of a good garlicky pickle. My husband laughs at me and pickles because I will just sit and eat them standalone. These, from The House on Silverado inspire me to actually make some!

Happy Friday Eve all! I hope everyone who celebrated Mother's Day had a very happy one. Mr. Chocolate made me a lovely breakfast, I had a great call from my son who was holed up with COVID, and made The Mumster a special dinner. The best news of the week is that as of today, our son tested negative for COVID and so glad he was vaxxed and boosted. Whew!

I'm working on a very special project I'm not ready to share yet but just a heads up that I probably won't be creating much over the next several weeks. Not that I've been doing tons lately anyway but still...

Lots of fun things shared at last week's party so let's take a look at some fun projects.

Who did string art as a kid? I had fun doing it with scraps of wood and did a piece a couple of years ago at a DIY studio. Creatively Beth is back with a wonderful and fun way to do it to make a card! Who wouldn't like to receive something this cute?

I always worry that no one shares my macabre sense of humor and then someone like Wendy from My French Twist comes along and lets me know I'm not alone. You may remember I found some creepy doll heads last Halloween so it shouldn't surprise you that this cracked me up and I had to share!

Artsy VaVa is back with another fabulous makeover. This time of a footed Sewing Box. This would make such a great storage addition to any room!

Finally, Nutella? Check. Banana? Check. Beautiful Yeast Bread? Check Check Check. From Treat and Trick. This is both beautiful and one of my favorite flavor profiles!

Wishing you all a peaceful and happy weekend and can't wait to see all of the creativity you've been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve, Happy Mothers' Day Weekend, Happy May! Once May rolls around, the already fast moving year seems to speed up doesn't it? Schools let out, graduations start, Summer's upon us. Summer's already upon us here in the desert and I'm still never going to get used to wearing shorts in April. You can take the girl out of the Pacific Northwest but she'll still think shorts don't start until July.

Hope you've all had a wonderful week and thanks for understanding my technical difficulties last week. I did manage to get Mother's Day cards made and sent to friends and family. I remain obsessed with layered cut files.

Some really creative ideas that caught my eye from last week's almost didn't happen party so let's take a look.

If you're in need of a last-minute Mother's Day gift or just want to brighten up your own kitchen, these Boho Flour Sack Towels from Creatively Beth will do the trick! So cute.

Spring is a time to refresh and renew which is exactly what Junk Is My Life did with a foot stool she found. Stunning transformation!

If however, you don't want or need to re-upholster, how about paint? Artsy VaVa did just that with this equally beautiful transformation!

Finally, whether for a special Mom or just because, this Glazed Chocolate Chip Toffee Coffee Cake from Cindy's Online Recipe Box is sure to brighten someone's day. Including your own!

Wishing everyone celebrating Mother's Day this weekend a very happy one!

Now let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve all! Survived April Fool's Day without falling for anything...woo hoo! Wish I was surviving allergies as well but I think switching up meds is helping but I did scare someone in the grocery store parking lot with a loud sneeze!

I hope you've all had a great week and are enjoying Spring. A week from Friday begins Passover and then Easter is that Sunday so next week is a busy one with lots of preparation.

I had a lot of fun making a gift for one of my younger cousins who's expecting a baby this month. You can see it here: Layered Rose Monogram and Coordinating Baby Card

More wonderful ideas shared at last week's party so let's take a look at a few.

Artsy VaVa shared the cutest Bunny Trail sign done with perfect vintage aging!

Creatively Beth shared this gorgeous Watercolor Bunny that is so cute!

Looks like another trip to Dollar Tree for me because I didn't see these little houses last time I was there are they are too cute! From Life As A LEO Wife!

Finally, if you're looking for something amazing to add to your Easter table, you can't go wrong with these Blueberry Buttermilk Scones from Claire Justine!

Thank you to all who linked up and let's see what you've been up to this week!
