Happy Halloweekend, Creative Peeps! Busy weekend ahead for many between Halloween activities, turning back the clocks, and Dia de los Muertos festivities. As for Mr. Chocolate and me, the weather's supposed to be stormy (BOO!...I feel bad for trick-or-treaters), so we'll be laying low with some special treats, then trying to remember what the time difference is between here and the rest of the country because we don't change.

There were too many fun food ideas shared at last week's party that I'm doing an all-foods feature this week. If you're looking for some fun things there's still time to whip up, these are perfect.

I did manage one last Halloween project this week before I put away my Halloween crafting supplies and brought out my Christmas ones.

Halloween Ornament Wreath:

OK, let's take a look at some of the yummy for a Mummy features from last week's party!

Recipes Simple shared these fun and fabulous Spider Donuts. You can use store-bought or make your own, and then just a few decorations totally transform them.

The Kitchen Is My Playground shared Halloween Peanut Butter Ritz Cookies (that also work for Oreos), which are also fun and festive.

With lots of pumpkin carving going on, don't forget about the seeds! Crazy Little Love Birds has a great way to Roast Pumpkin Seeds.

Finally, Halloween just screams for pizza. I don't make the rules. Rose Bakes has you covered with these Mummy Flatbread Pizzas.

Thanks to all who linked up, and I wish you all a SAFE and happy weekend!

BFF Open House: 2 Week Party

Happy Friday Eve, Creative Peeps! As you can see from the title, this will be a TWO-WEEK party because Mr. Chocolate and I are running away to our favorite home away from home, Disneyland (again!). This time, we're celebrating our 35th Anniversary (and an early birthday for me!). I have no idea where the time has gone, but here we are. We met 40 years ago in college, were "just friends" for four years, then dated and got engaged within months. And guess where we celebrated our engagement, spent part of our honeymoon, have observed anniversaries, birthdays, son's HS and college graduations? And now in our Junior-Senior years, we're still at it. The marriage and Disney!

And it's going to be fully decorated for my favorite season, so that's even better!🎃

This week I shared:

DIY Witch Broom

Summerween Printables:

Now, let's take a look at some fun ideas from last week's party and I'll see you on the other side in a couple of weeks!

The Apple Street Cottage shared this gorgeous Fall Pillow she made from her fabric stash! Perfect for the entire Fall season!

Mason Jar Crafts shared 15 Fall Recipes in Mason Jars. These look delicious, not to mention how practical and functional they are whether to use yourself or whip some up as gifts!

Crazy Little Lovebirds shared how to use wood pumpkin cutouts to make these festive Jack O'Lanterns.

And finally, Cindy's Online Recipe Box shared this Frozen Banana Split Cocktail that would be a hit with Mr. Chocolate since he loves banana splits. You can skip the alcohol if you like, and it'll still be amazing!

Thanks to everyone who linked up and wishing you all an early Happy September! See you in a couple of weeks.

BFF Open House Two Week Party

Happy Friday Eve, all! 2026 is speeding by. I'm a Winter Olympics fan, given that I spent years in an ice rink back in the day, so of course, that's the highlight for me. So proud of the US Team. Much respect for how Ilia Malanin is handling things after being under the microscope of so much pressure. He'll be back in 2030. What's your favorite Winter Olympics event?

This party will be up for two weeks. The big kids are escaping next week to Mickey's House to celebrate Mr. Chocolate's birthday and getting through a crazy year last year. It will also be a nice break for me after dealing with Mom's health. As tired as I am, I know I'll hit those 25k steps each day, regardless! It's how we stay young.

Had a chance to sit and play with some of my Bead and Gem Show finds this week!

And Spring is starting to make its way. Lots of fun inspiration shared at last week's party so let's take a look at some inspiring ideas!

Crazy Little Lovebirds shared a genius way to Transform a Plastic Organizer into an Artificial Succulent Hanging Garden!

Sonata Home Design shared a great DIY Grid Mirror Hack that would elevate any space.

Who among us has never found themself needing a Gift Bag without one on hand? My French Twist show how to DIY them!

Finally, Cindy's Online Recipe Box shared this yummy looking Chocolate Marble Cake with Dark Chocolate Ganache and Strawberry Glaze.

Thank you all for continuing to share your creations here each week. With the world as heavy as it is, creativity, art, beauty...more important than ever.

Happy Friday Eve, Creative Peeps. We're about halfway through November, and it's going quickly. It's funny...most holidays I plan out a menu, but Thanksgiving tends to take care of itself. If I even joke about switching things up, Mr. Chocolate's take is, "well if you want to ADD those", but not replace the standards. There's some comfort in that.

Do you serve the same dishes without fail, or do you mix it up?

This week, I wrapped up Fall projects with a final two that I'm really happy with.

Dollar Tree Stacked Pumpkin Centerpiece

Pool Noodle Hack Centerpiece

Now it's full on Christmas and Hanukkah projects!

Obvious from last week's party that you're all equally busy so let's take a look at some inspiring ideas!

If you're looking for Thanksgiving table decor inspiration, look no further than My Thrift Store Addiction. The combination of colors and textures of Copper and Velvet is beautiful!

Whether you have a "kid's table" or kids at your table, Press Print Party has a wonderful way to make them feel special with this Free Printable Thankful Turkey!

Looking ahead to Christmas, save some cans from Thanksgiving meal prep and check ot this sweet Metal Can Into Winter Scenery from Crazy Little Lovebirds!

Finally, while this isn't edible gingerbread, see how My Thrift Store Addiction uses Gingerbread Decor that's pretty enough to eat!

Thanks to everyone who linked up! Can't wait to see what you've got to share this week.

Happy Friday Eve, Fall,  and last weekend of September! You know what that means, right? The PRESSURE is on! From here on out, it's a full-court press with holiday crafting, baking, cooking, EVERYTHING.

This week I shared a couple more fun and easy Halloween projects and I still have a few more I'm working on. But, I stopped in World Market the other day and instantly wanted to immerse myself in Christmas! I haven't seen Christmas stuff in Michaels yet but Dollar Tree is gearing up and saw a couple of things in Walmart. My goal is to finish Halloween decorating by next week.

Happy August and Friday Eve, Creative Peeps! This year's been a blur, but I've actually had time this week to organize my Halloween craft supplies and start a couple of projects I look forward to sharing next week. Back to school is underway around me, as I was reminded when we saw the parade of school buses yesterday while out and about.

Here are some of the fun ideas shared at last week's party to Pin, Share, and Try!

Crazy Little Lovebirds shared this Tiered Metal Tray that's easy to DIY. I love tiered trays for holding and displaying collections of things and this is perfect for Fall!

Steph Creates shared this fun Coffee Canvas Tutorial. I pretty much run on iced-mochas or hot-mochas or mochas, period...you get the drift.

If back to school hasn't started for you yet, here's a very Sweet BTS M&M Teacher's Gift from Hunny I'm Home DIY.

Finally, how fun are these Lego Brownies from 24 Hour Family? Perfect for lunchboxes or after-school snacks!

Thanks to everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what you've been up to this week!
