BFF Open House Two Week Party!

Happy Friday Eve once again, Creative Peeps! I hope everyone had a safe and peaceful Fourth with limited furbaby panic not to mention our Vets. It was very quiet here. It's been a light monsoon season so far, but every year I'm reminded how intolerant of humidity of any kind I've become. Then I talk to my son in Chicago and bestie who had to move to Austin for work and I shut up.

I'm putting this party up as a two-week party. Mr. Chocolate's procedure is Tuesday, but short story long, it's being done up North because he kept his provider from when we lived up there. When this all started, it made sense to stick with them, and we had no idea we'd end up with surgery. So, we're combining it into a little getaway since he'll have to be seen the next day and in case of any issues. Plus, Summer rates at resorts here are great. Trying to work smarter not harder. Seems the easiest thing to do.

OK let's take a look at some of the ideas from last week's party and then we'll have double features week after next.

Steph Creates shared this DIY Fabric Bowls, which, let's face it, can't we always use more storage? Why not make it pretty!

How much fun are these DIY Tooth Fairy Pillows from Creatively Beth?!

Master Pieces of My Life shared a wonderful way to DIY Vintage Toleware.

Finally, a great way to beat the heat is with a refreshing Agua Fresca which literally translated means "Fresh Water", but are really fruit infused waters. VERY popular here in the Southwest and true to our Mexican origins. Cindy's Online Recipe Box shared this refreshing Watermelon Lime Agua Fresca recipe!

Thank you for the supportive comments and understanding of my CLUMP (Crafting Slump). See y'all two weeks from now. Be safe. Be good. Be creative!

Happy Friday Eve and almost Summer. I know we consider it Summer as soon as Memorial Day hits but then officially it's not for a few  more weeks...Sprummer?  I hope everyone had a good week and long weekend.

Getting over some crud that got me. A couple more days of antibiotics. The saying "If it's not one thing, it's another" remains true!

I did get a chance to play with leftovers this week. I shared how I used the paper towel I'd used to absorb excess dye from my Dyed Coffee Filters, as its own craft supply!

Now let's take look at some of the great ideas shared at last week's party!

Steph Creates shared a wonderful DIY Sweet Summer Sign to welcome the season!

Summer screams popsicles and Creatively Beth shared a fabulous Hand Drawn Printable.

Master Pieces of My Life shared how to combine Fern Fronds, Cloches, and Thrifted Trays to make a BEAUTIFUL Summer display.

Finally, if you ever chanted "You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream" then you need this Swiss Roll NO CHURN Ice Cream from The Kitchen Is My Playground

Thanks to everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what brilliance you have to share this week!

Blink, and it's Friday Eve again! I hope everyone who celebrated had a wonderful Mother's Day! We did. With a Mom who's getting up there, I don't take these for granted.

Had a chance to play with some things this week. Few things make me as happy as playing in my craft room. I get cranky when I can't create. Anyone else?

This week I shared:

Glam Fairy House from a Dollar Tree Fairy Cottage

Painted Llamas

Now let's take a look at some of the inspiration shared at last week's party!

I've been really focused on incorporating reusable components in my crafting this year. Steph Creates shared how to make a BEAUIFUL Upcycled Metal Storage Tin. Who can't use more storage?

It's Graduation and Wedding season so what better gift for both of those than cash?! Cindy's Online Recipe Box shared a creative and tasty way to give that kind of gift with this Money Roses and Chocolate Pretzel Bouquet

My French Twist shared this incredible Macrame Hanging Herb Garden. Pretty and functional!

Finally, and I love but haven't yet tried this trend, K'Mich's Wedding Soiree share a post filled with Focaccia Art! GORGEOUS. I want to learn!

Thanks to everyone who linked up and as always, looking forward to this week's shares.

Happy Friday Eve, all, and Happy M A Y ! That came up fast, didn't it?

I've been busy in the background working on a project I'm not ready to share yet so I didn't post anything this week. That's been in between the reality of "life is what happens when you're busy making other plans" as my Mom likes to say.

Mr. Chocolate has had his first turn with a physical health issue. It has been daunting  trying to get to the bottom of it. I'm the family weirdo who isn't bothered by medical stuff and I sometimes forget not everyone's as unbothered by it as I am. He's been anxious etc., so I'm glad I'm able to be by his side and hopefully soon we'll have THE treatment plan.

Mother's Day is sneaking up on me so I'm going to try and knock out some cards for family and friends but we'll see!

So many fun ideas shared at last week's party. As I say whenever I can't spend time in my craft room, seeing your creativity each week keeps me going so a big THANK YOU to all of you who share it here.

Master Pieces of My Life shared this fabulous Terra Cotta Themed Tablescape. Perfect for entertaining this time of the year and reminds me of dining in the French or Italian countryside.

Steph Creates shared this adorable Dollar Tree Frog Vignette using One Clay Pot!

3Winks Design shared how to make Wood Burned Garden Markers. Make a batch for your own garden or as a gift!

Finally, all the way from the Big Island of Hawaii, Kleinworthco shared these delicious-looking Blueberry Pie Bars. Fun to make just because or add to a brunch table!

Thank you everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what you've got in store this week!

Happy Friday Eve all! I hope everyone who celebrated had a very Happy Easter. Ours was blissfully quiet and low-key. I can't believe we're nearing the end of April already! I feel like I blinked and missed a whole month.

I was fortunate to celebrate The Mumster's 85th birthday this week! When you have an aging parent, you appreciate every milestone even more. Especially when this time last year, she was in the hospital after a very bad fall which ultimately led to her having to have a pacemaker implanted.. So what a difference a year makes and we are thankful that she's still here to celebrate. Of course I had to make her a special card!

She loves all shades of purple and gold his her signature metallic.

We're moving full speed ahead into Mother's Day and graduation season so let's take a look at some fun ideas from last week's party!

Bluesky At Home shared how to transform plain garden containers into On Trend Planters using just a little creativity and vinyl.  These would make a great gift too!

Crazy Little Lovebirds shared this Super Easy Dollar Tree Flower Display. They've gotten so many cute bottles and containers lately.

Steph Creates Things shared this beautiful Home Door Sign. Simple but impactful!

Got leftover candy? Check out this great idea from 3 Boys and A Dog: Crockpot Cake with Cadbury Eggs

Thanks to everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what you've been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve already again! This week's been another busy one, taking me away from my crafting room so nothing new to share. Our warmer weather cooled off a bit but trust me...not complaining. I've gotten very acclimated to desert weather. The only season I don't like is Monsoon season but then, only when I have to go anywhere!

I did manage a stop at Michaels and hit a jackpot of clearance goodies!

Most of the items were $2 and the Bead Landing spool is 16.6 yards of beaded garland! Now I just need time to play with it. The best part? I wasn't even going there but Mr. Chocolate "needed" split rings for something (which turned out to be A SPLIT RING) so it's totes his fault! 😜

There was lots of Spring and Easter inspiration shared at last week's party so let's take a look at some of them!

Steph Creates shared another fabulous Dollar Tree transformation with this Beaded Frame Bunny!

Artsy Va Va shared this incredible Flower Bucket Makeover. Looks like something you'd find at a French Country Market.

Creatively Beth is back with these adorbs 5 Minute Easter Candy Jars. So cute!

Finally, how cute area these Carrot Cupcake Cones from 24 Hour Family? Chocolate cupcakes, of course!

Thank you everyone who linked up. SO much talent and creativity out there.
