Happy Friday Eve all! Yikes, how is it almost the middle of December already?! Hanukkah snuck up on me and I was scrambling to get some things out the door this week since it starts on Sunday night. Wishing all celebrating the light and joy of the holiday.

Our brains never stop, do they? Or is it just me?! Worked on even more additions to my decor this week. Every year, while decking my halls, I find things that need some TLC or can be repurposed etc. Likewise, things I may have picked up on a whim, but hadn't used yet. That's us, isn't it? Finding new uses for things we already have and incorporating new things in.

This week I shared:

Now, let's take a look at some of the fabulous ideas you all shared last week!

If you're hosting a Cookie Exchange, check out this lovely idea from Flour on My Face with these Printable Tags tied to a cookie cutter as a thank you for each guest! PERFECT!

Tis the Season for all things Gingerbread and these mini "Fake Bake" Gingerbread Houses from Studio 27 by Jennifer Adams would make perfect additions to any tablescape or holiday decor!

Mr. Chocolate no longer asks questions when he sees a can or bottle drying by the sink. Mr. Chocolate understands where it's going to end up. Steph Creates is a kindred spirit like that. Check out this ADORABLE Repurposed Candy Tin Ornament!

A must-watch for me every year since childhood is, "Miracle on 34th Street" (the original, in black and white).  Kris Kringle is explaining the idea of imagination to Susan, the skeptical little girl in the movie. He tells her: "...this is the Imagination. And once you get there you can do almost anything you want"

This project made me think of that.  From Pettikoat Junction, Simple Christmas Decor Made With Electrical Tape.

Finally, the Girl Scouts could learn something from The Kitchen Is My Playground and release a holiday Thin Mint collection. But even better, check out these Homemade Chocolate Covered Thin Mints

I can't wait to see what goodness you've all been up to this week! Party On!

Happy Friday Eve and almost Summer. I know we consider it Summer as soon as Memorial Day hits but then officially it's not for a few  more weeks...Sprummer?  I hope everyone had a good week and long weekend.

Getting over some crud that got me. A couple more days of antibiotics. The saying "If it's not one thing, it's another" remains true!

I did get a chance to play with leftovers this week. I shared how I used the paper towel I'd used to absorb excess dye from my Dyed Coffee Filters, as its own craft supply!

Now let's take look at some of the great ideas shared at last week's party!

Steph Creates shared a wonderful DIY Sweet Summer Sign to welcome the season!

Summer screams popsicles and Creatively Beth shared a fabulous Hand Drawn Printable.

Master Pieces of My Life shared how to combine Fern Fronds, Cloches, and Thrifted Trays to make a BEAUTIFUL Summer display.

Finally, if you ever chanted "You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream" then you need this Swiss Roll NO CHURN Ice Cream from The Kitchen Is My Playground

Thanks to everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what brilliance you have to share this week!

Greetings all and Happy Weekend Eve! I hope everyone's had a creative week. I know the Midwest got blanketed with more snow and cold so I hope you're staying warm and dry! Here in the desert, I think allergy season may be starting up. Ugh!

It's clear that the stores have made their jump to Spring and Easter! I was in Walmart two days after Valentine's Day and BAM, Spring and Easter decor was everywhere and they have some cute stuff!

This week I shared a couple of altered cigar box projects I had a lot of fun making and I really love repurposing things.

Nothing says Spring like flowers and Crazy Little Love Birds has a lovely way to repurpose a jar to hold them with this DIY Flower-Embellished Glass Jar Makeover.

Sometimes, you love a piece but just want to freshen it up. Via A Ray of Sunlight comes How to Paint Furniture with Chalk Paint in a guest post by Breath of Life Design!

Sonata Home Design shared a wonderful tutorial to make a bold statement piece in the style of artist Piet Mondrian using faux stained glass supplies. Mr. Chocolate is a huge Frank Lloyd Wright fan and this would work with his style too!

Finally, alchemy happens when you combine chocolate and raspberry and they come together in these mouth-watering Raspberry Truffle Brownies from The Kitchen Is My Playground.

Thanks to all who linked up and can't wait to see what you've been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve all and here we are at the end of the first month of a new year. Perfect timing for the start of the Lunar New Year, right? This year is the year of the snake which, if I'm being honest, I'm like Indiana Jones in my feelings about snakes but in this context where the snake is associated with intelligence, resilience, and love, I'll make an exception!

I didn't make any snake projects but here's what I did share this week:

Before we officially start "Love Month", let's take a look at some of the ideas shared at last week's party.

Crazy Little Love Birds shared how to transform a chocolate box into a Beautiful Hanging Heart

Artsy Va Va shared how to use water slide decals, Sculpey, and gilding wax to make a Canvas Heart beautiful for Valentine's or anytime!

My Thrift Store Addiction shared her fun, retro, Vintage Tinsel Valentine's Tree

Finally, these Valentine Raspberry Sandwich Cookies from The Kitchen Is My Playground would make a perfect addition to any Valentine's table!

Thanks to all who linked up and can't wait to see what you've got in store this week!

Happy Friday Eve from The House of Mouse! We took our holiday sleigh to Disneyland for some Christmas fun this week. Seriously, I'm not sure we'll ever go when it's not Halloween or Christmas time because it's so festive and fun and much cooler than doing it in the Summer. This time I planned ahead and got this party scheduled before we left!

This week's features!

Steph Creates shared this DIY Wood Riser to hold a festive holiday vignette. I think things always look better with differing heights and this adds that depth!

The Apple Street Cottage shared how to make an elegant and special Glass Bowl Christmas Tree. Hit the Thrift Stores!

Artsy VaVa shared this brilliant way to make a DIY Holiday Bottle Stopper. You'll never guess what she used!

Finally, 'tis the season where Mama and Papa may need a cocktail right? This Turtle Cocktail from The Kitchen Is My Playground would fit the bill! Who knew there was Pecan Whiskey?!

Thanks to everyone who linked up and see you next week!
