Happy Friday Eve, and mid-October, all! Full speed ahead to the end of the year and so many holidays. I continue to be heartbroken by the news and what's happening in Israel and the ongoing news out of Ukraine, and being able to escape into creating things is therapeutic. I finished my Halloween Cards for friends and family, which I shared here. There's so much hate and destruction in the world that without trivializing any of it, seeing the beauty you all create each week helps soothe my soul.

Pumpkins are everywhere. I am partial to the ones some people find ugly. The differently shaped or knotty ones in non-traditional colors. Let's take a look at some ideas.

Steph Creates really knocked it out of the park with this DIY Pumpkin Display made from supplies Dollar Tree.

Fresh Vintage by Lisa S shared these fabulous Baking Pan Pumpkins. Hit the thrift stores (or your cupboards) and grab some spray paint!
With holiday entertaining season upon us, these Fall Themed Stamped Tumbled Tile Coasters from An Artful Mom make a lovely hostess gift or if you're hosting, can you ever have enough coasters?

Finally, these Classic Pumpkin Scones (served with Maple Thyme Butter!) are perfect for this time of year. From The Copper Table.

As always, thanks to all who link up each week and WELCOME to first timers! Let's see what you've been up to this week. Take care of yourselves!

Happy Officially Summer! With yesterday marking the Summer Solstice and the longest day of the year, we are officially in Summer mode. It's easy for me to forget since "Summer" can feel like it starts in April/May here. In fact, if I recall correctly, we had our first 100 degree day in April.

I'm still discovering all the arts events and activities in the Tucson area and I subscribe to a newsletter that highlights things to do each weekend. The coolest thing was included in this week's. Raise your hand if you grew up with pink erasers. Me! Check this out!

This local artist is creating 100 unique rubber stamps out of pink erasers

"Serena Rios McRae, also known as Cactus Clouds Art, has spent the last several months carving detailed designs into pink erasers."

You can read more at the link. I love this!

Hope everyone who celebrated the Fathers in their lives had a great Father's Day. Now let's take a look at some of the wonderful ideas shared at last week's party! With Fourth of July approaching, there were lots of fun ideas.

Master Pieces of My Life shared this amazing Vintage Ribbon Flag. All of the different textures really make this special!

The Apple Street Cottage shared these fun DIY Firecrackers! No risk of fire and so pretty!

Fresh Vintage by Lisa S shared this wonderful Envelope Patriotic Pillow. A great accent, for indoors or out!

And while these Hot Air Balloon Madeleines aren't Fourth of July per se, they could be with different icing colors but they're also just too darn cute and perfect for Summer parties. From Claire Justine.

Thank you to everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what you've been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve lovelies! Although I hate that tomorrow is April 1 because I absolutely despise April Fool's Day. In part because some people are so good at it, I have fallen for some things in recent years. But in general, life plays enough tricks on us as it is and I for one don't think it needs any help!

It's also a reminder from my former corporate days that it's the end of the first quarter of the year already! Definitely do not miss the chaos that quarter ends used to bring on. But yikes, where did it go? Easter and Passover converge this year and are in a couple of weeks. Lots of fun ideas shared at last week's party so let's take a look at a few!

The creative genius of Lisa from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S strikes again with a project showing how to make a Vintage Tennis Racket Flower Press! What a great way to save beautiful Spring flowers.

Speaking of creative genius, you'll never guess what this very cool Spring Carrot started out as. Hint: you know those pictures where you have to try and see more than one image? Similar idea from The Apple Street Cottage

Penny, from Penny's Vintage Home shared this fun corner Spring Vignette (and has the printable banner available to download for free). Check out the potato masher being used to hold a card (and which will now have me on the lookout for old potato mashers at thrift stores).

Finally, although these Chocolate Bunnies from Artsy Fartsy Mama look good enough to eat, DON'T! They're FAUX and won't melt and can be used year after year. So cute!

Thank you to everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what you've been up to this week!

Achoo! I mean Happy Friday Eve. Just a little allergy humor. While a lot of the country has been under snow and ice, allergens are kicking my behind here in the desert. So this week the most creative thing I've done this week is figure out which combination of allergy and sinus meds to take. I hope everyone else is having a good week!

As always, lots of wonderfully creative ideas shared at last week's party so let's take a look at a few!

Need some last minute Valentine's inspiration? Check out this beautiful Box of Roses idea from Studio 27 by Jennifer Adams! Beautiful.

Another great and easy way to decorate comes from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S with these Coffee Filter Hearts strung on a branch to make a Valentine's tree.

I've been wanting to get back into crocheting and this Baby Blanket with Pom Poms from Howling Liz is just perfect!

And finally, this Orange Ginger Vinaigrette from Homemade on a Weeknight looks and sounds so delicious!

Thanks to everyone who linked up. Now let's see what you've all been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve Creative Peeps! Hope your week has been a good, creative, and productive one. Finally got all the Christmas stuff dealt with and even stole a few minutes to make a new piece of Wall Art with a reminder that if not all, most things are "figureoutable". Next up will be unboxing my Cricut Maker 3 and playing with it.

Lots of great ideas shared at last week's party as always so let's take a look at a few!

LOVE this repurposed and decoupaged travel case shared by Fresh Vintage by Lisa S. This is a great time of year for thrifting as people are cleaning things out for the New Year.

Speaking of thrifting, Thrifting Wonderland shared what incredible pieces she found by thrifting. It can take patience and dedication but you can get some amazing pieces.

Sew Crafty Crochet has the CUTEST idea just in time for Valentine's Day with this Sugar Cookies and Milk scarf  . Look at those milk bottles!

Finally, this is the time of year when so many of us are re-committing to eating healthier and Pots and Planes has us covered with this delicious Peanut Butter and Cocoa Smoothie.

As always, thank you to everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what you've been up to this week.

We are in the home stretch Makers! My best present and the one I want the most in the whole world is on his way. Son and Granddog are headed this way and can't wait until they get here.

Every time I mail cards I hold my breath in suspense until one of the recipients confirms receipt because the Post Office can sometimes hate me for my thicker than normal cars. Whew! This week I shared the Christmas cards I made this year along with some last minute Peppermint Gnome candle additions to my Hot Chocolate Bar.

You all have been quite busy so let's take a look at some of the wonderful things shared at last week's party!

Fresh Lisa by Lisa S shared a way to bring even more vintagey goodness to bottlebrush trees using faucet handles! Love.

The DIY Dreamer shared a wonderful way to create ornaments from old light bulbs (I've also seen lightbulb ornaments).

Brilliant! We've seen doll houses transformed into Haunted Houses but Jennifer from Studio 27 has taken it to a whole 'nother level by making a Gingerbread House! Genius.

Finally, given my husband's Norwegian background and my own ties to Denmark, I really need to make this one year. This is a traditional Danish Christmas dessert shared by Lazy Budget Chef. We do have a tradition of Nisse gifts so I really should make this for Nisse night which we celebrate on 12/23!

OK. Now let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve all! By this time next week we'll be stuffed like the turkeys many of us will have just consumed and busy in our workshops or online shopping because the final countdown to Christmas will have begun! Hanukkah starts the Sunday night of Thanksgiving weekend and comes early this year. Everybody panic and freak out! OK, no. Because WE'VE GOT THIS right? We're Creatives, Bakers, Holiday Gift Makers! We are Crafters and Cooks and our work will get looks! Are you fired up and ready to go? GOOD! Let's take a look at some ideas from last week's party!

If you need one more EASY PEASY piece of decor for your Thanksgiving gathering, printables are the way to go and this one from Building Our Hive is perfect! You could do smaller sizes for each place setting even. And it's available in multiple colors!

Another quick and easy idea for your Thanksgiving table are these Silverware Wraps from Satsuma Designs. These were designed with kids in mind but no reason they can't be for adults too right?

I love Gnomes and they're everywhere, especially at Christmas. What's better than a No Sew Gnome?! Check out this one from Condo Blues

Finally, if you already have a chalkboard laying around or you're lucky enough like Lisa to find one at a thrift store, then this idea is for you. Fresh Vintage by Lisa S will show you how to stencil with more than one color to achieve this look!

OK Chocoholics! We were made for this. Let's get to making!!
