Happy Officially Summer! With yesterday marking the Summer Solstice and the longest day of the year, we are officially in Summer mode. It's easy for me to forget since "Summer" can feel like it starts in April/May here. In fact, if I recall correctly, we had our first 100 degree day in April.

I'm still discovering all the arts events and activities in the Tucson area and I subscribe to a newsletter that highlights things to do each weekend. The coolest thing was included in this week's. Raise your hand if you grew up with pink erasers. Me! Check this out!

This local artist is creating 100 unique rubber stamps out of pink erasers

"Serena Rios McRae, also known as Cactus Clouds Art, has spent the last several months carving detailed designs into pink erasers."

You can read more at the link. I love this!

Hope everyone who celebrated the Fathers in their lives had a great Father's Day. Now let's take a look at some of the wonderful ideas shared at last week's party! With Fourth of July approaching, there were lots of fun ideas.

Master Pieces of My Life shared this amazing Vintage Ribbon Flag. All of the different textures really make this special!

The Apple Street Cottage shared these fun DIY Firecrackers! No risk of fire and so pretty!

Fresh Vintage by Lisa S shared this wonderful Envelope Patriotic Pillow. A great accent, for indoors or out!

And while these Hot Air Balloon Madeleines aren't Fourth of July per se, they could be with different icing colors but they're also just too darn cute and perfect for Summer parties. From Claire Justine.

Happy Friday Eve and Father's Day Weekend. In dispatches from the "rest home" Mr. Chocolate can walk almost normally now and I got some meds for my back and will start PT next week. Progress!

How we're at the middle of the month already is beyond me but here we are. Let's take a look at some fun Summer ideas from last week's party!

With the outdoor season in full swing, these Outdoor Coasters from Condo Blues are perfect for patios and balconies!

One picture is not enough, but Master Pieces of My Life has a wonderful post filled with Outdoor Dining Tablescapes perfect for Summer.

Summer always seems to be about bags. I think because of more outdoor outings, or camps, or ? These Japanese Knot Bags from A Rose Tinted World are just perfect!

Finally, I love a good play on words as much as a good recipe and Cindy's Online Recipe Box has both with this Red White and Bleu Potato salad!

Woo hoo! An uneventful week on the homefront and Happy Friday Eve. Should I mention it's seven months until Christmas? I know, right? Mr. Chocolate's foot is healing but he still can't fully bear weight on it even though he can bear some, and now the challenge is him not trying to do too much and letting it heal fully.

No big Memorial Day plans beyond being thankful to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of the country.

Let's take a look at some of the great ideas shared at last week's party!

Paper Seedlings shared this elegant and gorgeous Mother's Day card that would work equally as well for weddings or showers! I love the simplicity of the color combination which to me, makes it stand out.

If you don't live near a beach or especially if you do, Master Pieces of My Life has a great way to bring the beach inside with this By the Sea Tray!

This Live Edge Wood Table from Saved From Salvage is perfect for DIYers!

May the Fourth may have already come and gone but I imagine there will be lots of Summer viewings of Star Wars Movies and series. These Star Wars Cookies (complete with Blue Milk!) are a must serve. From A Homemaker's Heart

NOTE: Blogger Bloggers, if I didn't leave you a comment about your feature, it's because Blogger is being a bit of a pain for me and telling me I'm not signed in when I can see that I am.

Alright, thank you to everyone who linked up and let's see what you've been up to this week! Have a safe Memorial Day.

Happy Friday Eve already again! No idea where the week went. And what a difference a week makes. We live surrounded by pecan groves we didn't even know existed until we were househunting last year and last week I swear there were no leaves on the trees and this week? BAM!

A friend of mine and her husband just joined the Grandparent's club so I had fun making them this card to celebrate. She's the friend who actually got me into cardmaking which she left behind almost as soon as she got me hooked. See my Baby Bear Card here.

Lots of wonderful ideas shared at last week's party so let's take a look at a few.

The Apple Street Cottage shared what to do with something that isn't cut quite perfectly but can still be used with this Imperfect Cutting Board Makeover

Want to add a bit of a French Country vibe to your gardening? Check out this Burlap Container Gardening idea shared by Masterpieces of My Life

Whether for Mother's Day or any occasion, these Oversized Flower Gift Tags from Whitehouse Crafts will make any gift special.

And if you need a gift to go with those awesome gift tags, these Faux Turquoise Earrings from Creatively Beth are just the thing.

Thanks to everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what you've all been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve all and welcome to another gathering of creatives showing off what they've been up to. We're in full on Halloween and Harvest mode now with Christmas starting to make its appearance in all of our favorite stores.

Candy Corn has become the Peeps debate of Fall. Either you love it or hate it when it comes to eating it but for decorating, it screams Fall and Halloween so check out this wonderful garland from Artsy Va Va!

Fall is the perfect time for Caramel Apples and would you believe these are FAUX Caramel Apples? See Fresh Vintage by Lisa S for the details!

More fun ways to decorate with faux fruit can be seen at Master Pieces of My Life with Ways to Decorate with Pears!

This is such a fun idea for a Fall party "Donut Be Tricked" from Satsuma Designs!

Happy Friday Eve all! Hope you've had a good week and for those of you settling back into a school routine, hope that's going smoothly. Anxiously waiting for temperatures to cool some here in the desert but we're still in triple digits so my sweater and boot envy of those of you in cooler weather is strong. Fall is my favorite weather season of the year.

Lots of wonderful ideas linked up at last week's party so let's take a look at some of them!

Love this DIY Cake Stand idea from Makeable Crafts that also works as a great way to display things.

Beautiful Early Fall idea from Masterpieces of My Life that shows how to transition to Fall without jumping right into Pumpkins etc. Love it!

With gourd and craft fair season upon us, these Gourd Lanterns from The Apple Street Cottage are STUNNING!

Finally, how cute are these Acorn Cookies made from mini cookies, kisses and chips?! A special treat for sure and you don't have to be a baker because they're no bake! From Cindy's Online Recipe Box

Happy Friday Eve once again everyone. Can you believe we're already halfway through July already?! What a difference a month makes. This time last month, I was just out of the hospital and we were in the process of getting a move underway. Now, pretty settled in and finally getting back to being able to make some things.

This week I shared my new Craft Room as well as a Layered "Moonogram" (Moon themed Monogram) project.

The craft stores are filling up with Fall themed goodies and you know that means that Halloween and Christmas won't be far behind!

Let's take a look at some ideas from last week's party!

There is a LOT of Christmas in July inspiration in Craftworld (as well as The Hallmark Channel) and I love this idea shared by The Apple Street Cottage using a wood round to make a festive and beautiful wreath.

Even if you're not yet making Christmas crafts, it's the perfect time to start thrifting for pieces and supplies that you will want to incorporate into your decor. I've noticed some thrift shops have gotten in on the theme by highlighting their Christmas items. Master Pieces of My Life has got a post full of inspiration and ideas for things to start looking for  NOW!

Switching gears...check out these desserts that are perfect for any time of year because chocolate is year round! This No Bake Caramel Coconut Ice Cream Sandwich Dessert from The Kitchen Is My Playground is perfect for a hot Summer day!

Finally, what is better than a perfect fudgy frosted Brownie? This is just how I love them...with that bit of gooeyness in the middle. No wonder these are a favorite of Cindy's grandson from Cindy's Online Recipe Box

Now, let's see what all of you wonderfully creative people have been up to this week!
