BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve already again! No idea where the week went. And what a difference a week makes. We live surrounded by pecan groves we didn't even know existed until we were househunting last year and last week I swear there were no leaves on the trees and this week? BAM!

A friend of mine and her husband just joined the Grandparent's club so I had fun making them this card to celebrate. She's the friend who actually got me into cardmaking which she left behind almost as soon as she got me hooked. See my Baby Bear Card here.

Lots of wonderful ideas shared at last week's party so let's take a look at a few.

The Apple Street Cottage shared what to do with something that isn't cut quite perfectly but can still be used with this Imperfect Cutting Board Makeover

Want to add a bit of a French Country vibe to your gardening? Check out this Burlap Container Gardening idea shared by Masterpieces of My Life

Whether for Mother's Day or any occasion, these Oversized Flower Gift Tags from Whitehouse Crafts will make any gift special.

And if you need a gift to go with those awesome gift tags, these Faux Turquoise Earrings from Creatively Beth are just the thing.

Thanks to everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what you've all been up to this week!

Happy Friday and April Eve,eve! I think people either love April Fool's Day or they hate it. Count me among the latter, but if you love it, I hope your pranks are well met! Can you believe it's April already? March is going out like neither a lion nor a lamb here in the high desert. Windy but sunny.

I've been attending the Crafting Adventure Summit I mentioned a few weeks ago, getting inspiration for some things I want to try and learning more tricks for my Cricut machines. I applaud those who put these on and develop content for them. Truly labors of love and sharing their creative passion.

Finished up my Easter and Passover cards which I'll share next week. Let's take a look at some of the inspiring ideas for these holidays from last week's party!

There's just something about moss bunnies. This collection and Tiered Tray from Penny's Passions is a lovely way to display them!

Another gorgeous Tablescape in Blue (and more moss covered bunnies!) was shared by Bluesky at Home.

You could make a whole garden of these Candy Flower Treats from Whitehouse Crafts

Finally, Cindy's Online Recipe Box is back with this delicious-looking Flourless Chocolate Cake whch is perfect for Passover since no leavening, for those who are gluten-free, or for any time!

Thank you to everyone who linked up and here's hoping Mother Nature keeps "April Showers" to an appropriate level!

Let's see what you've all been up to this week!

Happy February! Happy Love Month! Happy Black History Month!

I can't believe we're already in the second month of the year already. January flew by. One of the things I was excited about when we decided to move close tom Tucson was the chance to finally get to experience the Jewelry and Gem shows that take place at the end of each Jan / early February. I knew this was a big deal here but OMG! 42 SEPARATE VENUES all over the city. HUGE ones at that. I've made it to one so far and was overwhelmed. I'll do an upcoming post just on this.

Managed to knock out a couple of projects this week. A new wreath for our bedroom using great finds from Dollar Tree: Wood Bead Wreath and Tag and an easy Valentine's Cloche

You all have been busy getting ready for Valentine's Day so let's take a look at some great ideas!

You can't go wrong with these Valentine's Treat Baskets from Whitehouse Crafts

These Beaded Hearts by Steph Creates are beautiful on their own or as an addition to a gift!

If you want to set a special table for Valentine's Day, check out this beautiful Floral Tablescape from  Thrifting Wonderland

Finally,  perfect for dessert or to give as a sweet treat, these Valentine's Day Peanut Butter Cookie Bars from Our Tiny Nest definitely fit the bill!

Is it just me or does it feel like it was just Summer and all of a sudden it's December? I know what the calendar says and I know we had Halloween and Thanksgiving but it just hit me that we're 10 days away from Christmas and 3 days away from Hanukkah and it seems so surreal, like an out of body experience. I mean I've been busy decorating and prepping and shopping but still...

Here's proof! I shared this year's Holiday cards for Christmas and Hanukkah earlier this week,

along with a vintage-inspired Ice Skating sign for outside.

Likewise, I know how busy you all have been creating Holiday goodies for home, friends, and family! Let's take a look at some of the ideas from last week's party because if there's one thing we know as Makers...10 days is plenty of time to whip something up!

I absolutely ADORE this idea shared by Storyteller's Cottage to host a Literary Holiday Tea Party! It could feature a seasonal or favorite book.

How cute are these Gnome Scarves from Sew Crafty Crochet! Easily worn all Winter.

Whether you're ahead of the wrapping game or you need last-minute tags, these Snowmen Tags from Whitehouse Crafts can't be beaten for cuteness or ease!

Finally, Oreos have been a staple of my Holiday cookies forever. They're fun to decorate and make festive. These Iced Wreath Oreo Cookies from Me and My Inklings are no exception. Aren't they pretty?!

Alright Peeps...let's see what you've been up to this week!
