BFF Open House Link Party #200

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday eve all! Not sure where this week went but thrilled for today both because of this party and College Boy being home for Spring Break!

It's not easy being green but here are some ideas for next week's big green St. Patrick's fest:

The guys from Crafty Lumberjacks upcycled their clover patch from last year into a fun shamrock wreath for this year!

If you'd like to have something to wear that isn't necessarily green, how about a shamrock ring? Hoops by Hand has the how to.

There's still time to make a lucky welcome sign for your front door with just a couple of items needed. It's Always Ruetten has the details.

For a St. Patrck's treat how about mint chocolate truffles? The gold sugar on top is perfect ! Visit The Gracious Wife for the recipe.

Now on to this week's party!

BFF Open House Link Party #195

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy February everyone. 2015 is clearly going to move at a rapid pace! Valentine's Day is just about a week away. It seems like it was just Christmas doesn't it? Let's see some LOVEly ideas fom last week's party!

Julia from Always Ruetten shared her adorable lovebird wreath. So cute!

I know I said this when I featured Artsy VaVa's last iteration of the evolving chair ( and maybe even the iteration before that) but everytime I think she's done, NOPE! Look at the Valentine's version!!!

I also love the simplicity of this felt garland from The Gracious Wife . I think the berry beads between each heart really make it pop!

Finally, these peanut butter chocolate heart cookies from The Pin Junkie  would be a perfect addition to your Valentine's treats!

Now let's see what you've been up to this week!

BFF Open House Link Party #163

The Answer Is Chocolate

Friday eve again already! Hope everyone had fun celebrating the dads in your lives and has had a good week.

Lots of great ideas at last week's party and maybe because I have some bare walls, but several wall art projects caught my eye.

I love the simplicity and boldness of this piece ( pieces?) by Julia from Always Ruetten . Inexpensive, easy, high impact. What's not to love?

Here's another on trend idea. Pallet art and a big ampersand. Not to mention the quote is timeless. See the details at This Silly Girl's Life.

Mirror mirror on the wall, from the Dollar Store came them all ( groan lol). But seriously, see what you can do with a few mirrors from the Dollar Store over at Mondo Mom

This week's chocolate feature brings the outside in. See a new twist on everyone's favorite campfire dessert with these S'mores inspired brownies from Life With the Crust Off

Now, let's see what you've been up to this week!

BFF Open House LInk Party #153

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday Eve all. It's been another whirlwind and not so crafty week here at The Answer Is Chocolate so I've looked forward to the party all week to live vicariously through all of your creative projects!

Here are a few highlights from last week!

While this is Easter themed, the ladies over at Something Splendid have a fun and easy table runner project that could be adapted to any theme.

Rena over at Jewelry Making Journal has another spectacular tutorial to share. With Mother's Day coming up soon, this would make a great gift and no fancy tools required! Plus I love what she named this.

It's no secret that I love making cards, but I also love puns...one could say I'm punny that way ( everybody groan now). Julia at It's Always Ruetten as a fun all occasion card to share.

Who else remembers the Oreo cookie commercial jingle "Ice cold milk and an Oreo cookie..." ?  If you do remember it, you can thank me for that ear worm that's now stuck in your head! Well Oreos could only be better stuffed in brownies am I right?  You'll want to check out Kay's recipe over at Love Food , Will Share

On to this week's party!

BFF Open House Link Party #151

The Answer Is Chocolate

Friday Eve...best day of the week! Hope none of you endured any awful April Fool's day pranks. Not a fan of that day.

Here are some inspiring ( inspire Spring?) ideas from last week's party:

My readers know I love making cards. This one from It's Always Ruetten is a must make idea. Perfect for so many occasions.

Spring and birds go together don't they? I really like this layered stencil bird project from Laura at Pet Scribbles

Doreen over at Altered Artworks took her love of altering things to a bigger level. Ab fab makeover of this flea market found metal file cabinet to some new Industrial Chic storage for her workroom.

I couldn't believe that this gorgeous cake was Diane's first attempt at cake decorating. Visit An Extraordinary Day for the details. I can assure you , my first attempt looked nothing like this. I'm not even sure it looked like cake! Easter, Mother's Day, showers ...

Finally this week's chocolate feature. Simple, classic, delicious and never tire of this combination. Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars from The Pin Junkie
