BFF Open House Link Party #201

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday Eve all. Hope everyone had a wonderful and lucky St. Patrick's Day! Easter will be upon us before you know it. Here are some ideas from last week's party to pin and try!

While we've had a mild Winter, I know most of the country is more than ready for Spring. Artsy VaVa has a perfect way to get ready with this Spring wreath.

With Spring and more outdoor sports and play, boo boos are bound to happen. A Creative Princess shared these adorable "Boo Boo Bunny" ice packs. Who wouldn't feel better immediately with one of these?

This wood bead garland from Woods of Bell Trees would be perfect for a Spring mantle or draped around anything. I love the combination of the wood beads and mini lights.

This week's chocolate feature is from Gator Mommy Reviews . Classic chocolate and peanut butter combo. Perfection.

BFF Open House Link Party #192

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday Eve all even though I'm a little pouty since College Boy will leave tomorrow to go back and finish up his last semester of college! It's been a great visit and hard to believe he'll graduate this year!

Lots of great shares at last week's party. Here are just a few:

Let's start off with this faux patina monogram from A Creative Princess. Love the combination of paint and distress inks.

How about this gorgeous metal stamped bracelet from Pitter and Glink? Perfect Valentine's gift.

Plastic water bottles. I know we're supposed to hate them but they are a necessary evil in my life and I'll bet I'm not alone. I try to minimize and re-use and Mich in LA has a great way to keep track of yours on the go with this gorgeous beaded strap holder!

The name of this week's chocolate feature from Her Organized Chaos speaks for itself doesn't it?

Now on to this week's party!

BFF Open House Link Party #183

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday Eve once again! Can you believe Halloween was already a week ago? I can't. Before you know it Thanksgiving will be here. Time is not slowing down.

Here are some ideas from last week's party perfect for entertaining, decorating and gift giving.

Do you love strolling through Restoration Hardware or flipping through their catalog? Do you find yourself oohing and ahhhing and saying "no way" at the prices? Rachel from Holy Craft did and knocked off a $550 piece from RH for next to nothing.

Seeing "caramel apple" and "nachos" in the same sentence is not something I would expect to see. But Bonnie from The Pin Junkie managed to combine them into this dessert that is a must try! Plus there is just no easy way to eat a whole caramel apple is there?

Teri from A Creative Princess has a simple but perfect idea for fall decorating using clay pots. You could do smaller versions for a centerpiece or make a few of these as gifts.

I'm going to let Sharon from Her Organized Chaos explain this week's chocolate feature in her own words: Must I really explain this cheesecake? You can just imagine the taste with the name.Oh Sharon, yes I can...yes I can!

Now on to this week's party!

BFF Open House Link Party #150

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday Eve once again all. Can you believe this is the last party of March? Hope everyone's had a fun National Craft Month!

I didn't plan on this week's features being all jewelry (well not the chocolate one)  but that's how it turned out. I love that each of these projects can use found or re-purposed objects.

Definitely going to try my hand at these Safari Leather Bracelets from Rena at Jewelry Making Journal. I recently cleaned out my jewelry box and took apart some prior creations but saved the beads to re-use and have some that are perfect for this idea.

Baseball season is just around the corner and whether your an MLB , softball, or little league fan, you need to check out this idea from Terri at A Creative Princess. Home run!

With ongoing discussion about the potential retirement of the penny, here's a way to preserve them for posterity. Artsy VaVa combined a penny ( she even has a poem) and a charm to make this cute necklace for St. Patrick's Day. It could be easily adapted to many occasions.

Making macarons ( different from macaroons) has been on my to do list. For this week's chocolate feature I am drooling over this recipe for Mocha Macarons from Aimee at Twigg Studios. Everything she makes is gorgeous!
