Happy Friday Eve, all! I hope you're all "weathering" Summer well. It's crazy everywhere. Chicago Son got caught stuck on a train that had to be stopped because of a tornado and said they've set a record for tornadoes this Summer. EEK! We continue with monsoon unpredictability and people not heeding heat warnings about hikes here in the desert. 

And, as I found out last week, COVID is having a Summer moment. Stay safe, peeps!

Happy Friday Eve all, although I'm really not sure where the week even went! It was Sunday and blink....

Hope everyone's had a good week. I know weather is hitting the MidWest. Son slept through losing power in Chicago last night 🤣. Like father, like son. When those two are out...

I just have to accept that I'm not much of a Summer crafter. I think I just need to embrace it and get on with my favorite seasons. I can't pretend I don't have enough Halloween and Christmas supplies to play with. 

I have fallen back in love with Zen Doodling, or just doodling. It's meditative for me, which, as someone who's had lifelong anxiety, is calming. I just need to figure out what to do with all of them!

This hits home! I've run hard my whole life. School, work, family...and I lost some of myself along the way. I started really learning how to let go of the guilt about what I'm not doing, which is going to be something I have to work on for the rest of my life. Happy Friday Eve, all, and Happy APRIL! Yikes. I spent too many years thinking in terms of business quarters, so being in "second quarter" already is...WOW. I hope everyone survived April Fool's Day, a thing I've never enjoyed, but I know some people do epic pranks. We had a guest for a few days, so I didn't get to play in my craft room, but we did get to visit the Tucson Botanical Garden, which is a really wonderful place. 5.5 acres in the middle of the city that have been turned into beautiful gardens, a fabulous butterfly garden, a replica of Frida Kahlo's Blue House, and art installations throughout. There's even a miniature train garden with replicas of historic train stations around the country. Worth a visit if you ever get to these parts! 

Happy Passover to all observing, and I know others are busy getting ready for Easter, so let's take a look at some fun ideas you can still do or pin for next year.

Greetings all. Sending out thoughts for Southern California as it battles with the current fires. For any Creative Peeps in the affected areas, I hope you and yours have gotten to safety. 

With all the scary things going on, I'm thankful to channel some energy into making things. It won't solve the world's problems I know, but can putting some pretty out in the world ever be a bad thing?

Happy Friday Eve again Creative Peeps! Ready for St. Patrick's Day weekend? We don't go out but I may make a Guinness Pot Roast since neither of us love corned beef. March is flying by.
