BFF Open House

Happy one week until Christmas Eve Friday Eve all! How on earth is it one week until Christmas? Although that puts us closer to the end of 2020 which isn't a bad thing. You've been busy elves so let's see what you've been up to.

I love vignettes and how you can incorporate everyday decor items into seasonal decor. Mary Jo from Masterpieces of My Life shows exactly how to do that with her post on baubles in crates. Giving a wider view and a closeup view.

You really need to check out the whole post to appreciate!

Artsy VaVa is back with another gorgeous painted and stenciled sign and the grain sack accent stripes and boxwood "O" really make it pop!

Two Chicks and a Mom shared this bright and fun wreath made with supplies from one of my go to places, the Dollar Tree. Perfect to leave up all Winter! Not only is it fun and festive, it has a special story. Please read the whole post.

Naush from Doodlebuddies shared these Simple and Elegant Christmas trees you can still make for this year or pin for next.

Thanks as always for sharing your creations here each week. I love seeing what you've all been up to even if I don't always have time to comment.

OK let's see what you've been up to this week!

BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve all! We're only a little more than a week from Halloween, which seems like it's been far away and showed up like that. We don't get any Trick or Treaters where we live but I have been seeing SO many creative ways people are thinking of giving out treats this year and the creativity is amazing. From pulley systems to PVC pipe "chutes", it's incredible. Has anyone rigged up anything cool?

Both for Halloween and in general, you all keep coming up with some brilliant ideas. Let's take a look at some ideas!

I look at bottles as "cycles". Upcycle or recycle! They are fabulous simple items that can be transformed into pieces of art or home decor. Like this one from Artsy Va Va! So pretty!

If you've ever looked at an armillary in a boutique, you know they can be P R I C E Y. Naush, from Doodlebuddies has a fabulous and much less expensive alternative using embroidery hoops. LOVE!

I know many of us have been wearing "Pandemic Chic" for a while now but when we do get to go back out and dress up, these DIY Lace Up Ballet Flats from Howling Liz would be a welcome addition to any wardrobe.

Finally, if you're looking for a special Halloween cocktail, you need to check out this one from Jodie Fitz which reminds me it's been a few years since I last watched the movie "Beetlejuice".  And it's kid friendly and alcohol free!

OK! Let's see what everyone's been up to this week and as always, thank you for sharing your creations here at The Answer Is Chocolate!

BFF Open House Link Party

Happy Friday Eve all ! Welcome back to another party here at The Answer Is Chocolate. Hope everyone's made it through the week uneventfully. Uneventful is my goal these days. I'm not sure if Mr. Chocolate is ready to call for a Halloween intervention yet or not. I haven't started decorating but I have been busy making stuff to decorate with once I start. I'm so happy about how this Witch Hat Wreath turned out!

I think I've solved the issue I was having with last week's embedded link party so we will see! Let's take a look at some of the fabulous ideas from last week's party.

As my son grew older, my Halloween decor got more gothic, elegant, and darker. Anita from Unique Creations from Anita shared this Halloween Goblet that I adore! It's just perfect!

I love a good "green craft" that repurposes things that you have on hand. I have a fun one coming up next week! Naush from Doodlebuddies shared one that is easy and fun: DIY Pumpkins using scrap cardboard, twigs, twine and ribbon. I'll bet every one of us has the supplies!

Priyam from Simple Joys shared this beautiful Fall wreath made from ... Paint Sample Cards! I love how it captures all the stages of leaves that change colors.

Finally, this week's chocolate feature is from Lou Lou Girls and they are as cute as they look delicious. Who can resist Keebler cookies? I know so many of us bake but sometimes you just need a package of cookies from the store and to use them on top of cupcakes? Perfect!

Hope you enjoyed these features! Now, let's see what you've been up to this week!

BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve all! I hope you've had a great week and to those of you who are conducting COVID Home School, I salute you! While I worked from home most of the years my son was in school, it was NOTHING like what moms and dads and grandmas and grandpas and aunties and uncles and teachers are doing now. And of course leave it to Makers to actually create some fabulous classrooms!
Let's take a look at some of the ideas from last week's party!

I'm in awe of those of you who change out your bedrooms seasonally and in LOVE with the black and white Buffalo check that Penny from Penny's Vintage Home used in her Fall bedroom!

These fun and pretty Crochet Earrings from Lilah's Treasures caught my eye! Clean, bright, and with a virtual trip because Lilah's post will take you to the beaches of Southern Sicily which look like a place I'd like to be!

Naush from Doodlebuddies showed us how you can take something as simple as empty pickle jars and transform them into beautiful color blocked vases. A pretty craft that's also "green".

Finally, this week's chocolate feature is aptly named: Oreo Yum Yum from Tracey at The Kitchen Is My Playground. Yes please!

Thank you to everyone who linked up!! If you were featured, please feel free to grab a featured button here

Now, let's see what everyone's been up to this week!
