Happy Friday Eve all and can you believe it's exactly TWO WEEKS until American Thanksgiving?! I can't. It is. No!

I had fun this week with a couple of projects to switch up my Thanksgiving decor. I shared Tissue Paper Covered Pumpkins and Paint Pour Pumpkins and busy finishing up my Thanksgiving Cards. This is the time of year I'm at my most creative and tend to have more ideas than time. Wouldn't it make so much sense for me to write them all down and work on them throughout the year? Yes. Do I do that? No. Am I going to try to do that for 2024...we shall see!

BFF Open House TWO WEEK Edition

 

Happy Friday Eve all! Before we get started, a note: I'm leaving this party up to cover next week as well because I'll be running around Disneyland and California Adventure like the mature adult I'm not. We're going to celebrate my birthday (last month) and wanted to wait until it was a little cooler to go. So there will be features this week, the party will stay open to link up next week and I'll do double features the following week. 

Mr. Chocolate might have opinions on how early holiday supplies hit the craft stores, but that didn't stop him from wanting a Christmas mug yesterday when we were at JoAnn and it was already 40% off! 

But before we start with December holidays, let's take a look at some Halloween ideas there's still time to make. This week I shared two projects: Easy Halloween Candles and a Dia de los Muertos Canvas. 

The Apple Street Cottage shared a great Easy Halloween Candle project. I love the combination of elegant and creepy! 

Anyone else loathe cleaning out pumpkin guts to carve pumpkins? Creatively Beth has us covered with these Printable No-Carve Pumpkin Faces!

Greetings all! Hope anyone dealing with higher temps than normal is keeping cool. It's monsoon season in the desert which means storms and humidity. The amazing lightning storms the past few nights have been light shows and almost (ALMOST) make the humidity worth it. 

I've been exploring some modern art and have had fun with a few projects. I shared one here: DIY Modern Wall Art. Working on a couple of others I'll share soon. 

Starting to see Halloween creeping into the stores so the full-press holiday season will be upon us before we know it. Let's take a look at some of the fun ideas from last week's party! 

This thrifted table transformation from Junk Is My Life is the perfect addition to any room. Love the color! 

This portable DIY TicTac Toe game from Creatively Beth is all kinds of perfect. Fun to make, especially as a boredom buster wtih kids, fun to take on the go  with the storage pouch used as the board.

Happy Friday Eve! Happy JUNE! Yikes. Things have a way of speeding up from here. It's hard to believe we're already in the sixth month of 2022 but here we are. Hope you've all had a wonderful week. June is Graduation and Wedding season as well as the end of school for many. I remember the excitement of counting down the days until the end of the school year, even though it's been "a minute". 

Very honored to have received not one but TWO Hometalk features recently! The first for a Summer project I did a while ago: Easy Summer Decor . The second is for a more recent project: Layered Rose Monogram.  If you're not familiar with Hometalk, you really should check it out. Happy Friday Eve all! Hope that everyone has had an uneventful week! Uneventful has become my favorite word. We had a little surprise snow here in the desert! I live in the foothills of the "Valley of the Sun" so it was a but of a shock! 

January is not going by slowly is it? How are we at the end already with February on our heels which means lots of Valentine's and Galentine's Day fun! Let's take a look at some of the ideas shared at last week's party.

Happy one week until Christmas Eve Friday Eve all! How on earth is it one week until Christmas? Although that puts us closer to the end of 2020 which isn't a bad thing. You've been busy elves so let's see what you've been up to. 

I love vignettes and how you can incorporate everyday decor items into seasonal decor. Mary Jo from Masterpieces of My Life shows exactly how to do that with her post on baubles in crates. Giving a wider view and a closeup view.

Happy Friday Eve and not sure how it's already the end of January already. Hope you've all had a creative week and those of you watching the big "Sportsball" game are ready. 

Let's take a look at some ideas from last week's party!

Even if you think you're not a jewelry maker, you can make this cute Valentine's Charm Necklace shared by The DIY Dreamer. How fun would these be for Moms, Sisters, Daughters Grandmas etc.? So many possibilities and easy to find supplies!
