Happy Friday Eve all! Can you believe American Thanksgiving is one week away?! Me either. And then Hanukkah will be upon us and before you know it Christmas and then we can all celebrate saying goodbye to 2020!

Let's take a look at some Thanksgiving and Christmas ideas from last week's party!

Take a look at these GORGEOUS Fallen Leaf Luminaries from Satsuma Designs

If you want a different take on an Advent or Countdown to Christmas calendar, Birds Party has you covered with this adorable Christmas Village Advent Calendar! The colors and style are fabulous!

These Shabby Chic Fabric Hearts from Coastal Bohemian are wonderful as year round ornaments or to make as gifts or could easily be adapted to be Christmas themed!

Finally, this Apple Honey Crisp from Jodie Fitz would be a lovely Thanksgiving dessert and individual servings make it perfect if you're trying to distance! YUM!

BFF Open House

Welp! Happy N O V E M B E R all! We are in full production mode from here through Christmas right? And while it seems like 2020 has been one long month, the next two actual months are busy busy busy even though the number of people we host may be reduced. So let's take a look at some great ideas shared at last week's party to get some additional inspiration.

While I don't love pumpkin, I do love PUMPKINS! The kind you make, paint, decorate etc. And Fabric Pumpkins are both a great way to use up scraps and add to your festive decor. Hello Sewing has a fabulous pattern and tutorial to whip up a few new ones.

If you're whipping up say, some Hot Cocoa neighbor gifts, why not throw in a few coasters for the mugs like these No Sew Buffalo Plaid Coasters from Satsuma Designs?

When you're ready to wrap presents, you'll want this fabulous Paper Bow shared by Priyam from Simple Joys

Finally, knowing how many pumpkin lovers there are, these Pumpkin Cheesecake Swirl Muffins from The House on Silverado just HAD to be shared!

Thank you as always to everyone who linked up and now let's see what you've all been up to this week!

BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve all and Happy Mother's Day Weekend to all of you Moms! We will see "The Mumster" from a distance and then have a proper celebration a bit later.

Let's see some ideas from last week's party!

Abbotts At Home shared this gorgeous No Sew Upholstered Bench Top. Love the fabric she chose! I've about worn out my sewing skills making masks so "no sew" is fabulous!

With our continued increased hand washing, why not make the soap dispensers pretty? Chas from Chas's Crazy Creations shared an inexpensive and easy way to upcycle and do just that! Add a pump to a recyled jar and some paint to a dollar store find et voila!!

Jennifer from Satsuma Designs has a wonderful collection of ways to say Thank You to Teachers in this time of social distancing. I know some of you are playing that role right now or always so thank yourselves too! I especially love the collections of puns she included.

Finally, this Chocolate Angel Food Cake from Heritage Home Ec is calling my name!! Plus it's a problem solver if you are trying to reach a compromise between Angel Food Cake lovers and Chocoholics!

Now let's see what everyone's been up to this week !

BFF Open House

Friday Eve once again. I think. I'm no longer sure what day it is. Even though I didn't go out all that  much pre-lockdown, I had a routine that at least helped me remember which day of the week it was lol.  Hope everyone's well which has taken on a whole new meaning hasn't it?

Let's take a look at some ideas from last week's party.

Love this hanging planter that's made from...a springform baking pan! Shared by Fresh Vintage by Lisa S. Even more wonderful are the metal words she found that can be interchanged because they are held in place by magnets.

Since we're largely stuck at home, it's a great time to use up things in our craft stash right? That's what Cecelia from My Thrift Store Addiction did w/ this cute "Hoppy Easter" sign for her garden.

COVID-19 has resulted in a lot of canceled or altered plans including things like baby and bridal showers. Satsuma Designs has a fabulous way to salvage those plans by throwing a Virtual Shower!

You can still coordinate things like games, have everyone prepared with a common snack, have a special treat delivered to the honoree and use applications like Google Hangout or Zoom to bring everyone "together" while maintaining social distancing.

Now let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

BFF Open House Link Party

Happy Friday Eve all! Hope you've had a great and creative week. In this month of gratitude, I'm thankful for many things. This week it's some good news about my mom's health at a recent Dr. visit. As always, thankful for all of you who choose to share your creative talents here on my little corner of the internet.

Let's see some ideas from last week's party!

I'm always down for a good wreath project and this Drop Cloth wreath from Play Dates to Parties is one that can be up year round.

Printables are such a great way to change things up and bring a little seasonal decor in without to much fuss. This is a beautiful one for Fall from Clearwater Cottage

Got fabric scraps ? That means you could easily whip up this cute Fabric Turkey Wall Hanging from Adventures Of A DIY Mom

Finally, I know some of you are already decorating for Christmas or planning your Christmas decorating. There are some AMAZING ideas here from Satsuma Designs

Now let's see what you've been up to this week!

BFF Open House Link Party

Hi all and welcome to another BFF Open House here at The Answer Is Chocolate. Sadness in Casa Chocolate this week as we had to say goodbye to our precious furbaby of 16 years. It's the day every pet parent dreads. She's at peace and not suffering which is all we could possibly want.

Looking through the links from last week's party helped a lot so thank you to all who linked up. Here are a few features!!

Repurpose and Upcycle is back with an amazing DIY Budget Friendly Beach Cottage Mudroom

Satsuma Designs shared the cutest Fairy Camp Party idea, complete with Fairy Houses. This would be as much fun for grownups as for kids and could be easily adapted for a Bridal or Baby Shower or just a girlfriends gathering.

It was Harry Potter's Birthday this week and the 20th Anniversary of the book that  started it all. Harry has been a huge part of our lives and I can never resist a Harry Potter craft idea. These mugs from Surviving A Teacher's Salary are no exception.

Finally , between this week and the fact that this pie applies to me, I had to feature this "Menopause" aka Chocolate Peanut Butter Dream Pie from  Marilyn's Treats. Yeah you do all the things you're supposed to ... eat right, exercise, mindfulness but let's be real. When you are a woman of a certain age and your hormones are going full tilt crazy, the answer really is chocolate.

Now let's see what everyone's been up to this week!
