BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve again friends! Hope you've all had a creative and peaceful week. Still on my Quilling journey ( latest here) and filled w/ a burst of energy starting on some Halloween pieces which I'll show in the future! Looks like everyone's keeping busy as well so here's a look at some of the great ideas from last week's party!

I'm clearly not the only one thinking about Halloween. LOVE these wine glasses from Unique Creations by Anita which are simple yet bold and elegant!

Chas's Crazy Creations also has Halloween on the brain and made these wonderful Bottle Pumpkins that are so cool!

Look at this BEAUTIFUL paper feather from Priyam at Simple Joys! Not cut using a digital cutter or die, but by HAND!

Love Chocolate Chip Cookies? Love Nutella? How about the two combined! That's exactly what The Kitchen Is My Playground did and they look scrumptious!

Now, let's see what all you creative people have been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve all and Happy Mother's Day Weekend to all of you Moms! We will see "The Mumster" from a distance and then have a proper celebration a bit later.

Let's see some ideas from last week's party!

Abbotts At Home shared this gorgeous No Sew Upholstered Bench Top. Love the fabric she chose! I've about worn out my sewing skills making masks so "no sew" is fabulous!

With our continued increased hand washing, why not make the soap dispensers pretty? Chas from Chas's Crazy Creations shared an inexpensive and easy way to upcycle and do just that! Add a pump to a recyled jar and some paint to a dollar store find et voila!!

Jennifer from Satsuma Designs has a wonderful collection of ways to say Thank You to Teachers in this time of social distancing. I know some of you are playing that role right now or always so thank yourselves too! I especially love the collections of puns she included.

Finally, this Chocolate Angel Food Cake from Heritage Home Ec is calling my name!! Plus it's a problem solver if you are trying to reach a compromise between Angel Food Cake lovers and Chocoholics!

Now let's see what everyone's been up to this week !

Happy Spring! Wash your hands. Hope everyone's surviving sheltering in place / social distancing. Wash your hands. Crafters and introverts, this is our moment! It's like our Olympics! We've trained for this. Wash your hands.

All joking aside, I do hope that you're all well and have what you need. In a very stressful time, I'm seeing people come together ( in our own spaces) through sharing talents , ideas, recipes online.

Let's take a look at some ideas from last week!

Since St. Patrick's Day fell victim to our current situation, Pin this for next year. A Cookie Cutter Four Leaf Clover from Chas's Crazy Creations. She used as a trivet but you could easily hang or add to a wreath.

I love this whole vignette but the star is the Book Bundle. I've seen these for sale for $$ ( back when I occasionally left the house and could) and in magazines and on shows. Dragonfly Treasure shows you how you can make your own!

Nothing says Spring like eggs. They feature prominently in religious and non religious celebrations as a reminder of renewal. These Rustic Eggs from the The DIY Dreamer are so clean and perfect!

And finally,  here's a yummy dessert for St. Patrick's Day or anytime:

I especially love the title: NO-BAKE BAILEYS COOKIES & CREAM YUM YUM from The Kitchen Is My Playground

Happy Valentine's Day Eve all! Hope everyone's had a good week and you're all set for whatever you're doing tomorrow (including nothing at all!). Here are some ideas if you've waited til the last minute or to pin for next year.

Gnomes are everywhere! This adorable 6x6 painting from Artsy VaVa is so cute and can stay up all year round. The colors are fresh and non-traditional proving Valentine's Day isn't all red and pink.

If neutrals are more your thing, then this Burlap and Button Heart project from My Thrift Store Addiction is perfect.

Chas, from Chas's Crazy Creations is back w/ another great Dollar Tree based project.

Finally, how about some Red Velvet Waffles for a special breakfast? Yum!! From We Dish It Up

Sending hugs and kisses to all of you who come to visit each week!

Let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

Hello and Happy Friday Eve everyone! Hope your week has been a good one. A little calmer on my end ( never fully calm) and can't believe we are halfway through October already. Yeesh! Let's take a look at some ideas shared at last week's party!

If you are  planning a party or a small Halloween dinner for two, check out the ideas in this Bewitching Tablescape from Whispers of the Heart. I love the colors and layers and EVERYTHING about it.

I adore this sign from While I Linger ! She did the lettering with a Sharpie! Beautiful.

Chas's Crazy Creations is back with another Dollar Store find and transformation. A countdown calendar sign to the day after Halloween when the candy is 1/2 off , I mean to Halloween!

Fall is Caramel Apple season and the only thing better than a Caramel Apple is a Chocolate Caramel Apple! You'll have to visit Butter With a Side of Bread to learn the secret ingredient!

YIKES! And I'm not saying that because Halloween season is upon us. It's because I realized yesterday that Christmas is 3 months away. 90 days people! It's go time makers. Also, Hanukkah starts on the 22nd so if you've thought to yourself all year about those fabulous handmade gifts you're making for it or for Christmas, "it's time to make the donuts".

Let's see some ideas from last week's party!

I love projects that use up bits and pieces from our stashes. This Artsy Owl from Fluster Buster is perfect for that! Gather up your bits and scraps and make a fun art piece.

With more awareness of food allergies and sensitivities these days, you can signal that you have allergy friendly treats for Trick or Treaters by having a teal pumpkin on display. Check out this idea from Olivia Ohern.

This is a great lighted sign idea from Chas's Crazy Creations. She found a $5 canvas and added the lights and it totally transforms things.

If you are into football then this project is perfect for you! Look at this cute DIY Football Inspired Candlestick. So cute! From DIY Party Mom
