BFF Open House

Greetings Creative Friends, I hope that everyone is holding up as well as possible with the pandemic we're all dealing with. So far here in the desert it hasn't been as bad as in some other locations. My heart is with my former state of Washington which has been hit hard.

REMINDER:

Let's take a look at some ideas from last week's party!

With many of us practicing Social Distancing and/or schools starting to close, here's a fun at home activity for St. Patrick's Day from DIY Vibes. A St. Patrick's Day Word Search!

Boxwood wreaths can be pricey but here's an inexpensive project that doesn't look it, from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S

I am in LOVE with this upcycled Geometric Dresser shared by Unique Creations by Anita. The colors, the pattern...everything!

Finally, if you are looking for a special desert for St. Patrick's Day, look no further than this Chocolate Cake with Bailey's Frosting from Bird's Party. Oh My Yum!

OK let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

BFF Open House Link Party

Hi all and welcome to another week's fun of sharing creativity. Can you believe this time next week all the hours of cooking and prepping and depending on where you are maybe eating will be over? One week to Thanksgiving! If you're still getting ready to host, here are some ideas to inspire you.

Here's a lovely tablescape from The Handmade Home. Love the Moscow Mule mugs and the centerpiece basket filled with white gourds and candles! Head on over because she's also got some free downloadable place cards!

You still have time to add a Fall themed pillow. I especially love the non-traditional color of this one from Kathleen at Our Hopeful Home

If you're in a place where weather permits hosting an outdoor dinner, check out this gorgeously rustic Boho Chic idea from Birds Party

Finally, from Carol at The Red Painted Cottage comes this gorgeous thick wood tray complete with a tutorial ( bottom of post) so you can make your own or maybe one to give as a holiday gift!

OK let's see what you've all been up to this week!

BFF Open House Link Party

Happy Friday Eve all. I seriously hope you all have had a better week than I have. F is for Fall and also for Flu Season even though I did get my flu shot.

Let's take a look at a few wonderful ideas from last week's party!

With Halloween just over a week away, if you're looking for last minute decor ideas you can never go wrong with a printable and I love the simplicity of this one from My Busy Beehives

Next weekend will be a big Halloween party weekend since the day itself is during the week. If you're hosting an adult party, you have got to check out Bird's Party and her Creepy and Chic Cocktail Party

I have a thing for ravens ( and their cousins, crows). They figure prominently in some of my favorite TV shows and the characteristics described by the coastal tribes of the PNW are a match w/ my personality. Needless to say I fell in love with this Raven Wreath from The Red Painted Cottage.

And even though Halloween will be "frought" with lots of chocolate, can you ever have too much? These Brownie Chocolate Chip cookies from Everyday Parties for example. YUM:

Now, let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

BFF Open House Link Party

Happy Friday Eve all! Hope it's been a good week for everyone. Easter weekend is upon us so here are some last minute ideas to try or Pin for next year!

This Spring vignette from An Extraordinary Day can stay up well after Easter. I love all the pussy willows and that big moss egg along w/ the golden eggs and birds. Wondering if that little bunny is chocolate?

The only thing better than Pottery Barn is a great PB knockoff like this glittered bunny from Pugs and Paisley. Fess up. Who (else) walks through PB saying "I can make that".

Speaking of Pottery Barn, this stunning floral table runner from Bird's Party looks like it could have come out of their catalog doesn't it? So pretty and and would be perfect for a Mother's Day or bridal shower table.

If you need an addition to your dessert table, these Chocolate Cake Bites Wrapped in Coconut from Make Easy Cakes is just the thing. For me, chocolate and coconut is an irresistible combination!

Now on to this week's party!

BFF Open House Link Party

Happy best day of the week Friday Eve!!! Hope everyone had a good week despite the crazy weather everywhere. The PNW gets a bad rap on rain but I heard last night on the radio that we've had as much rain since October 1 as we usually get in an entire year! Ready for some dry days here.

Let's see some ideas shared at last week's party:

Love this wooden backdrop from My Busy Beehives! She keeps it on her mantel and changes out what's on it seasonally. I am also in love with the Spring wreath she has on it!

There must have been something in the air last week because here's another wreath I am in love with. This one from Maggie Lois. The mix of textures and colors of greenery really come together for a simple but impactful wreath.

Now I didn't plan on having wreath centered features but it just turned out that way! I also love this Spring Tulip Wreath from Alaynas Creations. Once again common materials and colors make an impact!

Since tomorrow's St. Patrick's Day, this week's chocolate feature is perfect ( not that you couldn't make these whenever!).

Guiness Stout Chocolate Cupcakes with Irish Cream Frosting! YUM! Thank you for sharing Bird's Party

Now let's see what you've been up to this week!

BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve all! Well the Northwest started the week under a blanket of snow and looks like the Northeast will finish it under an even bigger one. Hope everyone and all of you in the middle are safe and warm!

Let's see some great ideas from last week's party. If you're snowed in this weekend, might have time to work on them!

I love this cup cozy Kileen from Raven Would shared. It was inspired by the movie "Big Hero 6" and the Beymax character. There's an ongoing battle in our house because Mr. Chocolate is of the opinion that Beymax is and should be referred to as Big Hero 6. We've agreed to disagree but I think everyone can agree how cute this is! Even my basic crochet skills can handle this!

The expression "SWAK" for Sealed With A Kiss comes to life with these printable envelope seals that were shared by White House Crafts. How much fun are these?!

Dog lovers or friends and family of dog lovers you will want to check out these printables from My Busy Beehives.  Woof!

Finally, if you're looking for a delicious Valentine's dessert, look no further:

Chocolate Cupcakes with Mascarpone Frosting from Birds Party! You're welcome !

Now, on to this week's party!
