Happy Friday Eve all. Hope you've had a good week. We continue to spike in COVID cases here so I guess I'll be making a few more masks since we continue to not go out very much. Frustrating to say the least how few people continue to take this seriously. Anyway, let's take a look at some ideas shared last week!

I debated whether to put this up today. There's so much pain in the country and I am not immune to it nor would I hope is anyone.  I try very hard to keep this space limited to creativity and the celebration of it. But today is not that day. So I'm going to have the party because for me creativity is healing and the place I turn to when I'm hurting, but I'm not going to have features this week.

Happy Friday Eve all. Do Monday holidays throw you off as much as they do me? I am always confused the rest of the week. Hopefully you all had a peaceful long weekend last weekend and here we are coming up on another weekend and JUNE?! How did that happen?

Happy Friday Eve all. Thanks for all of your supportive comments last week. There was a huge work project that was not going as smoothly as the people who dreamed it up thought it was going to go. This week's been a bit quieter :)

Sharing some more mask ideas from Sew Crafty Crochet and I absolutely love this choice of fun fabrics! 

Speaking of sewing, Condo Blues shared this very timely post on Sewing Tips and Tricks. My skills are limited but I have been cranking out masks. At least I was until my machine said "um no" and my new one arrives tomorrow so I'll be referring to these to make sure I take great care of it! 

Finally, for weeks like last week especially, or anytime, I think I need one of these Chocolate Nutty Fudge Martinis from Cindy's Online Recipe Box.

Happy Friday Eve all and Happy Mother's Day Weekend to all of you Moms! We will see "The Mumster" from a distance and then have a proper celebration a bit later.

Abbotts At Home shared this gorgeous No Sew Upholstered Bench Top. Love the fabric she chose! I've about worn out my sewing skills making masks so "no sew" is fabulous! 

With our continued increased hand washing, why not make the soap dispensers pretty? Chas from Chas's Crazy Creations shared an inexpensive and easy way to upcycle and do just that! Add a pump to a recyled jar and some paint to a dollar store find et voila!!

Jennifer from Satsuma Designs has a wonderful collection of ways to say Thank You to Teachers in this time of social distancing. I know some of you are playing that role right now or always so thank yourselves too! I especially love the collections of puns she included. 

Finally, this Chocolate Angel Food Cake from Heritage Home Ec is calling my name!! Plus it's a problem solver if you are trying to reach a compromise between Angel Food Cake lovers and Chocoholics!

Happy Friday Eve all! I know the days run together especially as we've been staying home but how did it get to be the end of April already?! Hope everyone had a good week and is staying safe and healthy. 

Let's take a look at some ideas from last week's party! 

This DIY wood flower basket is made from....PAINT STICKS. I think the hardware stores figured out that crafters love paint sticks because I know I've seen them at both Home Depot and Lowes in packages for sale. From The DIY Dreamer and perfect for Mother's Day. 

Another great wood project is this very cool black and white Wall Hanging from Unique Creations By Anita. So many color combination possibilities! 

Stencils aren't just for walls or furniture! Check out how Lisa from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S used on on a Flannel Shirt! 

I have been seeing more recipes combining sweet and savory and/or using herbs in things you wouldn't normally associate with them. These Chocolate and Basil Muffins from Claire Justine look AMAZING!
