Happy December everyone! The time crunch is ON! I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and for those who began celebrating Hanukkah, hope it's been fun. It was just the two of us but I cooked like it was 20 of us only without the stress of what mood(s) guests would be in and not having to time cooking to drive, pick up relatives, cook, drive relatives home etc. It was freaking glorious. The halls are now all decked and full speed ahead until Christmas which will be wonderful this year because thanks to the pandemic last year, it was the first one we didn't spend with our son and he'll be here this year! Thank you 🎅🏾.

I don't know about you but the hardest part of this time of year for me is being busy making things that you can't post because they're gifts for people you don't want to see them! However, you can share them here so let's take a look at some ideas from last week's party ok?

If you're still looking for some fun decor projects, these Yarn Loop Trees from The Apple Street Cottage are easy and festive! And there are so many fun yarns to play with.

I love a good Dollar Store project and this Ornament Wreath from Life as a LEO Wife is pretty and easy on the budget.

My blog is really about this next blog's perfect name: Makeable Crafts. Festive accent pillows can change the whole feel of a room. These are no exception!

Finally, it's the time of year when dinner needs to be easily doable with everything else going on right? These French Dips from Homemade On A Weeknight are PERFECT for that!

Alright all you Santa's Elves, let's see what you've been up to this week.

Happy Friday Eve all and hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween weekend! We thought we might get a few trick or treaters this year but...not sure if it's a good thing that I bought the kind of candy we like! Hey, I was a Girl Scout : "Always be prepared!" right? Got the Halloween decorations down and the "Fallsgiving" decorations up. I put up a Halloween tree this year. Mr. Chocolate was initially skeptical when I told him I was going to and then fell so in love with it he asked if we were going to keep it up once Halloween was over. So being a Maker, of course I swapped it out for the season and made some layered paper leaves to go on it.

Welp! We are full steam ahead into the holiday season. Hanukkah comes REALLY early this year starting the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. The Christmas commercials have already started and Hallmark was playing Christmas movies in October. Honestly, I think they just need to add a year round Christmas Movie channel to their lineup.

Lots of wonderful ideas shared at last week's party so let's take a look at a few!

It's still VERY much pumpkin season and The Apple Street Cottage has an ingenious way to make a Sweater Look Pumpkin. Truly, I never would have guessed!

I've done some paper quilt projects but this wood Barn Quilt from The House on Silverado is absolutely STUNNING!

Wondering what to do with old windows you may stumble across? Check out what Saved From Salvage did with one! I've seen similar in home decor boutiques for big $$$.

And finally, The Kitchen Is My Playground is back with a wonderful and easy addition to your Thanksgiving dessert table: Crescent Pecan Squares using crescent rolls! Don't have to be a baker to make these!

Thanks as always to all who linked up! This is our time of year Makers. We were made for this! let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve all. We are officially within the two week window countdown to Halloween if you can believe it. It's finally feeling like Fall here in the desert getting down to the low 70s even 60s.  Love it. Lots of inspiring ideas shared at last week's party with still enough time to try so let's take a look at a few!

This Skull themed tablescape from Whispers of the Heart is right in my style wheelhouse! Love the elegance of the black and white with the pops of purple!

A dollar store pumpkin and flowers and some woven spider fabric combine to make this easy and pretty Halloween Pumpkin! From The Apple Street Cottage

This piece of Halloween gorgeousness started out as a child's dollhouse! I'd been looking for one to turn into a haunted house but I think I started too late this season. What a gorgeous transformation! From Studio 27 by Jennifer Adams!

Tis the season for all things pumpkin so definitely put these Baked Chocolate Pumpkin Swirl donuts on your list of recipes to try. From Cindy's Online Recipe Box!

Thank you as always to all who linked up!

Happy Friday Eve all! Hope you've had a good week and for those of you settling back into a school routine, hope that's going smoothly. Anxiously waiting for temperatures to cool some here in the desert but we're still in triple digits so my sweater and boot envy of those of you in cooler weather is strong. Fall is my favorite weather season of the year.

Lots of wonderful ideas linked up at last week's party so let's take a look at some of them!

Love this DIY Cake Stand idea from Makeable Crafts that also works as a great way to display things.

Beautiful Early Fall idea from Masterpieces of My Life that shows how to transition to Fall without jumping right into Pumpkins etc. Love it!

With gourd and craft fair season upon us, these Gourd Lanterns from The Apple Street Cottage are STUNNING!

Finally, how cute are these Acorn Cookies made from mini cookies, kisses and chips?! A special treat for sure and you don't have to be a baker because they're no bake! From Cindy's Online Recipe Box

Thanks to everyone who linked up and let's see what everyone's been up to this week !

Happy Friday Eve and Happy August! Enjoying a break from our Summer Monsoons which I guess are supposed to be back. We do actually get rain in the desert and during Monsoon season that can mean flash floods, muddy roads etc. Necessary, nature, and not my thing!

My creative contribution this week was to get another batch of Birthday Cards off  To Box of Balloons, an organization that works to ensure children who might not otherwise get to be celebrated on their birthdays.

Lots more wonderful and creative ideas shared at last week's party so let's take a look at a few!

It's never too soon for Christmas projects...we just celebrated a whole month of "Christmas in July". This Clock Frame Makeover from The Apple Street Cottage is such a wonderful idea!

I love this LOVE frame from Makeable Crafts! The buffalo check in the heart is such a perfect accent but other patterns would work just as easily.

I love a good Dollar Tree creation and this table...yes TABLE...from Life As A LEO Wife is so cool!

Finally dessert, and shocker...it's not chocolate...but Mr. Chocolate is a BIG bourbon aficionado so this Bourbon Pecan Cheesecake from Not Entirely Average definitely caught my eye!

Time to see what everyone's been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve all! It's monsoon season here in the desert so we've had muggy ( for us ) days and stormy nights with lots of lightning shows and thunder. It's a crazy Summer all around and I hope that you're all managing to stay cool and safe.

This week I shared my Coffee Filter Flower tutorial for those of you who may not have seen and been on the lookout for it!

Let's take a look at some of the ideas shared at last week's party!

Popsicles scream Summer and if you need a Summer card, you can't go wrong with this idea from Linda at Paper Seedlings. Looks good enough to eat!

It's never to early to start making Christmas Ornaments either for your own tree or as gifts. Apple Street Cottage has a simple way to do so using polymer clay and an embossing folder. Genius!

As much as July has become "Christmas in July" month, it's also an ongoing celebration of Harry Potter in honor of Harry's birthday. This Deathly Hallows pillow from Creatively Beth is so cool !

Finally, what's better on a hot Summer day than some ice cream? How about Chocolate Pomegranate ice cream from Morsels of Life? Yum!

Now let's see what everyone's been up to this week!
