Happy May and Friday Eve! Whew, it's been a week. Came down with a sudden onset fever of 101-102 last weekend. I thought I was for sure headed to urgent care or the ER on Monday when thankfully, I woke up and it had broken. COVID tests were negative and didn't have other symptoms but it left me zapped of ANY energy for two days more. I'm not used to sitting around doing basically nothing but that's exactly the level of energy I've had. Back to about 30% yesterday and a bit more today but blech!

I hope you've all had a MUCH better week. May has definitely brought flowers to lots of the cacti in the desert. The blooms are amazing. And lots going on to start the month.Teacher Appreciation, Cinco de Mayo celebrations, Mother's Day next weekend.

Let's take a look at some inspirational ideas from last week's party!

This is one to save for next year's "May the Fourth Be With You" fun but was too perfect not to share. Light Saber Cookies from Rose Bakes. What Jedi wouldn't love these?

Speaking of Cactus blooms, this Kissed Cactus card from Paper Seedlings couldn't be more timely or perfect.

I'm not sure how many generations away we may be from these well work handwritten family recipes going the way of the dodo but while we still have some, this Vintage Recipe Art from Sum of Their Stories is a fabulous way to preserve them!

Finally, perfect for this weekend since it's Kentucky Derby time, are these Mint Julep Mocktails (easily turned into an adult version with a splash of  Kentucky Borbon) from Me and My Inklings

And let's see what you've been up to this week!

Happy almost May Day, Friday Eve! I stopped dead in my tracks on Tuesday when I realized it was the 25th and only 8 months until Christmas. When you put it like that, even to yourself, it's a "Yikes" moment.

Didn't do anything really worth posting this week. I'm going to get started on Mother's Day. Let's jump right into some of the fun ideas shared at last week's party!

I love how this Farmhouse Basket Makeover from The House on Silverado. It's clean and crisp and allows access to things while looking fresh!

How cute is this fresh take on a Tic Tac Toe game from 3 Winks Design?! Perfect for playing outdoors or in.

These Tulip Collage Cards from Sum of Their Stories are a creative and earth-friendly way to share your love and use up scraps and found paper items. So perfect for Spring!

Finally, how creative are these Alice in Wonderland-inspired Strawberry Mushroom Cookies from Me and My Inklings? Fun for a themed party or just because.

Thank you to everyone who linked up. Your creativity inspires more people than you realize.

Time to see what everyone's been up to this week!

Happy almost last week of April if you can believe it! I hope everyone had a nice Easter and Passover as it winds down. Seems like Spring is doing it's usual "am I in or am I out" in some places while here in the desert, I'm still not used to starting to wear shorts in April but with temps nearing 100, that's where I am.

Lots of wonderful fun ideas shared at last week's party so let's take a look at a few of them!

I was entranced by the world of Harry Potter from the time my husband brought the first book home from a bookfair for our son. I've also loved the "Fantastic Beasts" movies and look forward to seeing the newest one. If you're unfamiliar with them, one of the characters is a a baker and Me and My Inklings has the cutest project inspired by the movie: Bowtruckle Bread with printable labels!

Who doesn't have a used jar candle they've stared out wondering how to repurpose? Sum of Their Stories has a great upcyle project with the details on how to turn it into a useful pincushion!

Pinatas are so much fun to have at parties, whether for kids or adults. Artsy Fartsy Mama shared how to make this adorable DIY Donut Pinata

Finally and to paraphrase Duff  Goldman from Spring Baking Championship "There are a lot of bad brownies out there. This isn't one of them" when he was giving feedback to a contestant. These look like EXACTLY my kind of brownies which I've found are harder than it seems to make from scratch and get the same gooey texture as some box mixes. From Treat and Trick

OK, let's see what everyone's been up to this week and as always, thanks for sharing your creations here!

Happy Friday Eve all! Welcome back to another party filled with wonderful ideas shared by all of you! Hope you've had a great week and those of you in cold temps are staying warm. We did the math the other day and it was 81 degrees warmer for us than it was for our son in Chicago! YIKES!!!

Did a couple of fun Valentine's projects this week. Clay Pot Bottle Toppers and a Five Minute Wreath! And what a difference a year makes. After a 2021 filled with too many doctor's appointments, went for a hike up the mountain behind our house this week!

Let's take a look at some of the fun things you all shared at last week's party!

Penny's Vintage Home shared another of her wonderful vignettes. So pretty and festive and perfect for Valentine's Day!

Artsy VaVa shared a gorgeous Heart Art DIY that speaks to my vintagey shabby chic heart!

Speaking of Vintage, you need to see the before for this after transformation shared by The House on Silverado. On my list for 2022? Dixie Belle Paint which was used here.

Finally, Faerie Gardens are everywhere and Sum of Their Stories has a wonderful way to use corks to add to one!

Thanks to everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what you share this week!
