BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve all. 2021 is chugging crazily along and while I still haven't been making much, I'm grateful for the gift of creativity and the ability to be inspired by the projects you all share here. Thrilled that vaccine rollout has come to our state and hoping by the time this posts I will have gotten my Mom signed up. My bestie and her husband were both diagnosed last week:(  As my BFF said: "This sh** is scary". Please please please continue to mask up and wash up!

Let's see some of the ideas from last week's party!

My Home of All Seasons has a great post on transitioning from Christmas to Winter decor if you (like me) haven't put your Christmas decor away yet. Or pin for next year!

Don't have a digital cutting machine? Priyam from Simple Joys is your go to source for paper cutting without one. Can you believe she made this paper chandelier without one?! I'm not sure I could do as beautiful a job with one and I have both a Cameo and a Cricut Explore Air 2!

I keep a stash of organza and muslin bags on hand for small gifts, especially jewelry. Eccentricities by JVG shows us how to have some fun with plain muslin bags using Freezer Paper Stencils. I love that you can tailor these to any occasion!

I love cream cheese in frosting. I think it gives that extra body and cuts the sweetness just perfectly. And yet, I've never made a Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting and can't wait to try this recipe from The Kitchen Is My Playground because it looks delish!

OK let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

BFF Open House

Hi friends! Not only can I not believe it's Friday Eve again, I can't believe it's Halloween Weekend already even though it will be a different Halloween this year for sure. I know that it will be creative! Some great ideas from last week's party. Let's take a look at a few!

I can't wait to try this fun Eyeball Plant that Jennifer from Stuido 27 shared. I saw some similar pre-made ones but think of all the possibilities making your own in whatever colors you like!

Not only is this Mudcloth Pumpkin Pin Cushion from Sara at Birds of a Feather pretty and practical, she shows you how you can make your own mudcloth fabric! A two in one.

After Halloween, it's full speed ahead to Christmas and these Vintage Ornament Wood Blocks from Lisa at Fresh Vintage by Lisa S are filled with retro goodness!

Finally, check out these Pumpkin Mocha Latte Bath Bombs from Jasmine at Eccentricities by JVG would make a great self care treat ( we all need to be practicing that during this crazy year) or as gifts right? Love the design.

Alright, let's see what genius creations you've been up to this week !

BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve ( thank goodness for calendars because otherwise I'm not sure I'd know which day it was!). Hope you've all had a peaceful, healthy, and creative week! I'm excited to start working on some Thanksgiving inspired projects I can't wait to share. My most recent Halloween themed creation is here: Skull Earrings and Bracelet

If we're not already following each other on Instagram, I'd love to make sure I'm following you all.

Let's take a look at some of the inspiring ideas from last week's party!

Just because I've been on the hunt for them, I haven't found any more of those foam Dollar Tree pumpkins but Jasmine from Eccentricities by JVG did and I absolutely LOVE what she did with them! Perfect to leave up now through Thanksgiving.

This colorful, poured, and hand lettered Hey Boo sign from Kristie at Love My Little Cottage is all kinds of perfect!

Mary Jo from Masterpieces of My Life shared how she updates this awesome birdcage seasonally. I love pieces that can change from season to season.

Finally, tis the season for all things pumpkin and while I confess to not being a fan, as my blog name tells you, I am a fan of chocolate. So these Bakery Style Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies from 3 Winks Design just may convert me because they look amazing!

Thanks to everyone who linked up!

Let's see what everyone's been up to this week.

BFF Open House

Welp. August is both flying by and standing still like the rest of 2020. Hope you've all had a wonderful and creative week. I've been working on some Halloween stuff, trying to get ahead of things this year since I have some more time on my hands.

Let's take a look at some of the wonderful ideas shared at last week's party!

Card making remains my first love and like Antonella from White House Crafts, I love finding and using 12x12 pads which usually contain a few pages of panels you can use as the focals of your cards. Mr. Chocolate won't believe him if I say I don't have this cute collection in my collection and need to remedy that!

Eccentricities by JVG shared how to make a pretty and practical Diffuser Bracelet. These work w/ body heat to release scent and can be used w/ essential oils.

Southern Sunflowers shared a wonderful makeover of a box sign thrifty find and is also sharing the printable she made and used!

Finally, Cindy's Online Recipe Box shared this adult version of a banana split via this Frozen Banana Split Cocktail. Oh my!

Now let's see what everyone's been up to this week!
