Bloop! It's Friday Eve again already and the week has flown by. Thought a bug was getting me but I think I out ran it. Whew. Just absolutely devastating news about Maui. We celebrate our 32nd Anniversary this month and we spent our honeymoon visiting Oahu, Maui, and Kuai, and have been back to the islands several times over the years. The Lahaina area is filled with a lot of history and was designated a National Historic District. My heart goes out to the families and friends of the 36 people we know have been lost so far.
I hope those of you sending kids back to school are getting through that smoothly. I remember all of the forms and meetings involved.

I brought 3 other incredible recipes for you this week too (81, 82 & 83)... so you'll have a hard time choosing your favorite! ** My husband was actually born in Hawaii (his dad was stationed there), but he also has cousins living there now (his aunt married a Hawaii native). Such an unbelievable tragedy! Whenever I think of Hawaii, I think of how the air smells like plumeria as soon as you step off the plane! ** Happy rest of the summer!

Thank you for featuring my dragonfly art. I've been so slow to write posts! I have plenty to share, it's just a matter of taking the time to sit down & write. I actually did the dragonfly art a year ago & it took me that long to post it! Yikes. I don't know it it's because I'm getting old or I'm just lazy.
