BFF Open House Link Party

Happy Friday Eve all. Can you believe we're headed into the last week of January already? Wasn't it just Christmas?

There were some really cool and inspirational ideas shared at last week's party ( and I've fixed things this week so the thumbnails show...operator error!)

Let's start with this Wood Burned and Stained Mandala Tray that Kileen from Raven Would shared. I recently bought a wood burning tool to play with and this is my inspiration!! Isn't it spectacular?

All the way from Germany is this beautiful illuminated 3D paper art piece from Wesens Art blog. I love what she shared in her post too:

"Especially this object is important for me.
It should remind me to really trust my abilities.
I'm a creative person and want to do more creative things for myself - to keep it or give it away. Just because I want to do it!"
Couldn't agree more!

So I've been seeing a lot about Instant Pots lately and I'm interested in anything that sounds fast in these time compressed times. The ladies from LollyJane sure have me intrigued with 23 Instant Pot recipes! I do have a Williams Sonoma gift card from Christmas I haven't used yet....hmmm

With Valentine's day coming up , here are some yummy treats:

What's better than a chocolate chip cookie? An Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookie! Check out Sugar Spice and Family Life for the recipe...if you dare!

OK on to this week's party!! Happy Weekend all.

BFF Open House Link Party Happy Fourth!

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday Eve all and happy long Fourth of July weekend! I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe weekend. We get glimpses of a few different professional shows so looking forward to those.

Let's see some ideas from last week's party!

Ashleigh from Twenty Something In The 2010s shared this wonderful vintage sewing machine table makeover. I love how clean and crisp it turned out!

Wesen's Art shared a fantastic way to recycle and re-use some of the excess plastic that we're all plagued with to create this fun Summer bracelet.

What's Summer without S'mores? If you don't have a campfire, Sweet Meets Bakeshop has you covered with these Mini S'mores Pies!

Now, let's see what everyone's been up to this week:

BFF Open House Link Party #159

The Answer Is Chocolate

Hello everyone and Happy Memorial Day weekend . Our weather is not supposed to be so great so maybe that means some extra time for creating.

Here are a few highlights from last week's party before we move on to this week's

If you've got extra newspaper laying around , here's a wonderful recycling project  I doubt anyone would guess started out from newspaper. Visit Wesens Art for the details

Pillows are one of the easiest way to change the look of a room . Even if you don't sew you can update the look of plain pillows with stencils and fabric paint like this idea shared at Bliss Bloom Blog

If you're looking for some last minute Memorial Day ideas , check out this roundup from This Silly Girls Life

This week's chocolate feature is courtesy of TiTi Crafty.  Double Chocolate Strawberry Dipped Cupcakes. You're welcome!

Let's party !

BFF Open House Link Party #136 "We're In Crunch Mode People!"

The Answer Is Chocolate

OK people. It's crunch time! Less than a week to go before Christmas. More exciting here at the Chocolate house is: THREE DAYS UNTIL COLLEGE BOY COMES HOME!!!!! Not that I'm at all excited.

Let's take a look at some of the fantastic ideas shared last week and then see what you busy elves have been up to this week.

I have so much fun walking through Dollar Tree and seeing what I can come up with from what I find. So does Shellie from Saving With Shellie who made this glam gold wreath without having to break the bank.

Shellie's wreath would look great next to this genius idea from Rachel at Holy Craft. Rachel used up some of her vinyl scraps to make this beautiful gold dot tree using an old window . I can easily see a big heart for Valentine's Day using this technique.

Wesens Art shared these adorable Wineglass Lampshades. Don't you love the silhouette of the reindeer from the tealight? Again, infinite possibilities for any occasion.

Oh dear. Bad enough that Hershey's has come out with a chocolate spread but Karyn from Pint Sized Baker has gone and gotten her hands on it. That can only mean more temptation like these mini no-bake cheesecakes. Trouble!

On to this week's party!
