BFF Open House

Welp! Happy N O V E M B E R all! We are in full production mode from here through Christmas right? And while it seems like 2020 has been one long month, the next two actual months are busy busy busy even though the number of people we host may be reduced. So let's take a look at some great ideas shared at last week's party to get some additional inspiration.

While I don't love pumpkin, I do love PUMPKINS! The kind you make, paint, decorate etc. And Fabric Pumpkins are both a great way to use up scraps and add to your festive decor. Hello Sewing has a fabulous pattern and tutorial to whip up a few new ones.

If you're whipping up say, some Hot Cocoa neighbor gifts, why not throw in a few coasters for the mugs like these No Sew Buffalo Plaid Coasters from Satsuma Designs?

When you're ready to wrap presents, you'll want this fabulous Paper Bow shared by Priyam from Simple Joys

Finally, knowing how many pumpkin lovers there are, these Pumpkin Cheesecake Swirl Muffins from The House on Silverado just HAD to be shared!

Thank you as always to everyone who linked up and now let's see what you've all been up to this week!

BFF Open House

Is it Friday Eve already? This week has actually kind of flown by. Maybe it's because I've been on Halloween overdrive and having so much fun. Or, maybe, if you'll indulge me for a moment, I've been on Cloud Nine since one of my project was featured in the Hometalk Newsletter this week!

Eeeek!!! I can't believe it's October already which means we're in Halloween full steam ahead mode. Let's see what brilliance you all shared at last week's party!

Michelle from My Bijou Life captured the spirit of the season with this incredible pendant she shared ( and she has others you really need to check out!)

Niky from The House on Silverado shared this G O R G E O U S Fall Wreath, perfect from now through Thanksgiving. This is like a marriage of my love of neutrals and my love of wreaths! So pretty.

Lisa from Drugstore Divas shared this fun collection of DIY Mix and Match Pumpkins. I love all of the faces!

Bird's Party shared this incredibly beautiful and spooky Halloween Cake with Meringue Ghosts. Maybe this year you're only gathering with family or a few friends and this would be a spooktacular extra special treat!

Finally, if you're looking for an extra special Halloween adult beverage, Tracey from The Kitchen Is My Playground can hook you up with this Dracula's Blood Cocktail (and she's got several other concoctions worth checking out)!

Thanks to everyone who linked up and now let's see what you've been up to this week!

BFF Open House

NOTE: Hi all, I'm having some issues w/ the Inlinkz code formatting

Welcome back all! Hope you've had a wonderful week. Between the ongoing pandemic, the wild fires in the West and the tropical storms/ hurricanes in the South, I hope this is a space to take a break from the news and look at some pretty things. To all those in affected areas, my thoughts for your safety.

Here are some of the things that caught my eye from last week's party and as always, thank you for sharing your creations here at The Answer Is Chocolate.

This week I shared some Mackenzie Childs inspired pumpkins and Paint Poured Halloween Canvases

First up, some gorgeous Upcycles from The House on Silverado. I love how paint can transform the whole look and feel of a piece!

Virginia from Artsy Va Va is back with another amazing paint project. LOVE the colors she chose for this Wood Barn Quilt.

How much fun are these Spooky Tree Halloween Vans and perfect for now through October from Love My Little Cottage?!

Finally, even though the temperature remains above 100 degrees here in the desert. the calendar says it's time for Fall treats. 3 Winks Design has got you covered with these gorgeous and yummy Hot Chocolate Bombs!

Now let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve all! Tomorrow is Friday right? Having completed my first month of retirement, I can see how people lose track of the days! Not complaining though! Hope you all survived another week safely and creatively. I am having so much fun continuing to explore all of the possibilities of Quilling. My most recent project is here: Quilled Monogram . Now, let's see what you've been up to this week!

Hannah from Handmade  Weekly shared something that's timely for me : Candle Making for Beginners. We love candles but they get expensive so I've been thinking about making my own.

Lisa from Condo Blues shared how to re-purpose aluminum cans into pendants that can go on a necklace. There are so many drinks out that come in pretty cans, the possibilities are endless !

With so many of us still hunkering down at home, Summer camping may not be on the calendar this year but The House on Silverado has a wonderful idea for a camping dinner ( I think this qualifies as "glamping" ) at home including Toasted S'Mores Martinis for dessert.

Finally, Cindy's Online Recipe Box is back with one of my favorite combinations: Chocolate and Coconut in her Almond Joy Cupcakes! Oh yes please!

Alright, let's see what you've been up to this week!
