BFF Open House "What Day Is It" Edition

 

Happy Friday. I think. Not as in I'm questioning the Happy part, but the Friday part because I've lost the plot. Between attempting to play tech support for my Mom, and then joy oh joy, ending up with my own technical malfunctions resulting in me having to reset a bunch of things, missed my own party planning, feature selecting, scheduling time. So...all party / no features and late! 

I can't believe it's the end of April already. Mother's day is around the corner and before we know it for those of you with littles, Summer break will be here. YIKES!

Yikes! Happy March. Almost missed my own party. Been a busy week since our big furbaby had to have some surgery this week and it's been a bit like having an infant again with no sleep. So no features this week, just party. My creative endeavors this week were limited to a thank you card for the Veterinarian.

Happy Thanksgiving  all! By the time you see this you will have probably gobbled til you wobbled. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Hi all and Happy Friday Eve. Thanks for all the well wishes and thoughts last week. Surgery went well and recovery is going OK. Glad to have had some other life stressors put on pause for the time being. Definitely listening to the medical team and not getting ahead of myself or trying to be Superwoman. She's on indefinite vacation. 

This is going to be another week of all party no features! Wishing those of you who are in the throes of back to school whether as teachers, parents, or both, safety above all!!

Whew!!! Our move is OVER! Woo hoo! And my new office is coming together so cannot wait to be able to start playing again.

Hello and Happy Friday Eve to all my "Chocoholics"! I hope everyone's had a great week. Mine has been one of those "life is what happens when you're busy making other plans" weeks. Actually a couple. The Mumster (aka my Mom) took a fall last week and ended up in the hospital. The good news is, it wasn't as bad as it could have been and she has been home since Saturday. I've been staying with her to help get her back up to full strength, so haven't been doing any making. As such, this will be a week where there aren't any features. 

I will take a moment, especially for those of you who are younger, to issue a PSA that it's never too soon to have conversations with your parents about finances, decisions, directives etc. If COVID year has taught us anything it's "we don't know what we don't know" so ASK and discuss! You and they will have better peace of mind.

I debated whether to put this up today. There's so much pain in the country and I am not immune to it nor would I hope is anyone.  I try very hard to keep this space limited to creativity and the celebration of it. But today is not that day. So I'm going to have the party because for me creativity is healing and the place I turn to when I'm hurting, but I'm not going to have features this week.

Hi all. Hope you've made it through the week as well as can be expected these days. Our big excitement was finding TP and paper towel during our weekly foraging this week. 

Once again, I have to apologize. The week's been busy workwise w/ a lot of changes so it's going to be another featureless party. I probably need to think about doing this on a different day. 

Pull up a chair, sit down w/ your favorite quarantine drink and snack and party on! Be well friends!
