BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve all. Thanks for all of your supportive comments last week. There was a huge work project that was not going as smoothly as the people who dreamed it up thought it was going to go. This week's been a bit quieter :) 

Here are some ideas from last week's party! 

If you're looking to add to your outdoor decor (or this could work for inside as well) South House Designs has a fabulous tutorial on how to DIY Cement Bird Baths using all kinds of things you may have in your stash, or around the house! 

Sharing some more mask ideas from Sew Crafty Crochet and I absolutely love this choice of fun fabrics! 

Speaking of sewing, Condo Blues shared this very timely post on Sewing Tips and Tricks. My skills are limited but I have been cranking out masks. At least I was until my machine said "um no" and my new one arrives tomorrow so I'll be referring to these to make sure I take great care of it! 

Finally, for weeks like last week especially, or anytime, I think I need one of these Chocolate Nutty Fudge Martinis from Cindy's Online Recipe Box.

BFF Open House Happy Birthday Mumster!

Happy Friday Eve all and hope you've had a good week. This week's party is dedicated to my Mom, affectionately known on this blog as "The Mumster", because today is her BIRTHDAY and a milestone one at that (which I won't blab). 

Any creative genes I have I got from her, a creative and artist in her own right. She's a wonderful friend to her friends and to me now as an adult. She's been there for me always. I cannot wait until it's safe for us to do things together again when we can have a proper celebration! In the meantime,  this is one little way of making sure she knows how important she is to me! She loves seeing all of the creativity you all share each week. 

I think this is perfect for our current shared national situation. Our peak here in AZ has yet to come and I suspect we'll be sheltering in place for a while longer. This Quarantine Bingo from Condo Blues is perfect! 

Anxiety is real and one of the biggest parts of it is feeling like you aren't in control. I thought this was timely and appropriate. From Effortlessly Sophisticated. 

If you're doing more cooking right now, it might be the perfect time to do an indoor herb garden. These beautiful chalk painted planters tie everything together! From  DIY Vibes.

Finally, I think we all deserve to be treating ourselves during these trying times. There's just something extra special about crepes. These from Marilyn's Treats are no exception!
