Happy Friday Eve, all. And Happy Mother's Day Weekend to all celebrating. I also know it can be a bittersweet day for some, so please be gentle with yourselves. We've had some later-than-usual cloudy and cooler days here in the desert, but I'm about to eat those words because we're supposed to hit 100 soon, and once that happens? Triple digits for a while!

Carol, thank you for hosting and for featuring my recycled "hello summer" sign. So happy you enjoyed it. Also, wishing you a beautiful Mother's Day. I remember that Arizona weather! Yes, enjoy those lower temps while they are around. It snowed over here the other day, and today the sun came out like, "Here I am!" Lol, it was nice, but we could always use more moisture. We had a dry winter. Have a wonderful weekend ahead.

Happy Mother's Day! I posted some special chocolate cookies for Mr. Chocolate and am sure he'll share with you! I didn't realize you were in the desert and a warm weather person too! I'm north of Dallas (closer to OK border than actual Dallas) and we had our weeks of 70s-80s, then it was overcast & drizzly for about a week (warm for part of that time, but in the 50s last couple of days). I am definitely a sunshine gal and SO happy to see the sun today and temps on the rise to 80s again (with 90s not far behind). Catch y'all again next week!
