BFF Open House ... Party, No Features

Hi all, got a bug. So far, don't think it's "that bug" but a bug of some kind. Monitoring symptoms. And yes, I have been washing my hands like I'm prepping for surgery all day every day to make fun of my own teasing.

All party, no features this week. Hope you're all doing well and

WASH YOUR HANDS!

BFF Open House

Happy Spring! Wash your hands. Hope everyone's surviving sheltering in place / social distancing. Wash your hands. Crafters and introverts, this is our moment! It's like our Olympics! We've trained for this. Wash your hands.

All joking aside, I do hope that you're all well and have what you need. In a very stressful time, I'm seeing people come together ( in our own spaces) through sharing talents , ideas, recipes online.

Let's take a look at some ideas from last week!

Since St. Patrick's Day fell victim to our current situation, Pin this for next year. A Cookie Cutter Four Leaf Clover from Chas's Crazy Creations. She used as a trivet but you could easily hang or add to a wreath.

I love this whole vignette but the star is the Book Bundle. I've seen these for sale for $$ ( back when I occasionally left the house and could) and in magazines and on shows. Dragonfly Treasure shows you how you can make your own!

Nothing says Spring like eggs. They feature prominently in religious and non religious celebrations as a reminder of renewal. These Rustic Eggs from the The DIY Dreamer are so clean and perfect!

And finally,  here's a yummy dessert for St. Patrick's Day or anytime:

I especially love the title: NO-BAKE BAILEYS COOKIES & CREAM YUM YUM from The Kitchen Is My Playground

Now let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

BFF Open House

Greetings Creative Friends, I hope that everyone is holding up as well as possible with the pandemic we're all dealing with. So far here in the desert it hasn't been as bad as in some other locations. My heart is with my former state of Washington which has been hit hard.

REMINDER:

Let's take a look at some ideas from last week's party!

With many of us practicing Social Distancing and/or schools starting to close, here's a fun at home activity for St. Patrick's Day from DIY Vibes. A St. Patrick's Day Word Search!

Boxwood wreaths can be pricey but here's an inexpensive project that doesn't look it, from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S

I am in LOVE with this upcycled Geometric Dresser shared by Unique Creations by Anita. The colors, the pattern...everything!

Finally, if you are looking for a special desert for St. Patrick's Day, look no further than this Chocolate Cake with Bailey's Frosting from Bird's Party. Oh My Yum!

OK let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

BFF Open House

Happy March and National Craft Month all! As we're all being vigilant about the Coronavirus, my new favorite reminder:

Now, let's take a look at some ideas from last week's party!

How cute is this Split Ball Wreath from Kippi At Home?! The wooden balls are flat on one side which makes them lay down so nicely.

I also really love this idea from DIY Vibes, using a green wreath against a natural wood piece of wall art. Really the whole mantel is lovely!

How cute is this Spring / Easter vignette from Penny's Treasures?! The carrot holders are actually repurposed chair springs! Creative!

Finally, we tend to think of this next idea as strictly Christmastime but this take on a Yule Log totally works for St. Patrick's Day. From Seasonal Holiday Recipe Exchange

You could also  put a pot of gold aka Rolos or any other gold foil wrapped candies to go with!

Time to see what everyone's been up to this week. Wash those hands!
