BFF Open House Link Party #219

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday eve all! Another whirlwind week ( say that three times fast!). We'll get right to features from last week's party and then on to this week's!

Let's start with this truly out of the box and "over my head" idea....Using a stretchy headband to make a necklace! This has so many possibilities. llar and It's like a conecklace in one. See Jewelry Making Journal for the details where Rena shares some other options including how to wear this idea as a 1920's inspired headband!

Jenn over at One Thrifty Chick has a monthly craft club ( and you should visit just to see how much fun she makes it for her guests) and in June she focused on crates. I love things that are pretty and functional and crates are perfect! Great idea for gift presentation too.

Heather over at Woods of Bell Trees has an easy to follow tutorial on making simple but stunning earrings. With gift giving season gearing up, you could whip up several pairs for friends and family!

This week's chocolate feature is a Summer favorite w/out a campfire required. Accidental S'Mores Fudge from Laina Turner

OK now on to this week's party!

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday eve folks. Hope it's been a good one for all of you. It's been busy but not as crazy as last week on this end.

Here are some features from last week's party!

Sometimes you have to go old school. I'm fascinated by this salt water etching technique that Upstate Ramblings shared to personalize her son's stainless steel water bottle for camp. Check it out!

Whether you have a guest bathroom or just like to add a little something to your bathroom for guests, Woods of Bell Trees has a wonderful idea. Minty Pineapple Soaps. Wouldn't these make a wonderful hostess gift too?!

I can't get enough Marquee Letter ideas. Whether you buy them completely pre-made, ready to decorate, or DIY like these from Crafting In The Rain, I just love them!

This week's chocolate feature is not only delicious looking but it's "skinny" and only takes 5 ingredients! From Engineer Mommy

So now on to this week's party!

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday Eve and Mother's Day Weekend everyone. Hope all the moms and grandmoms out there are spoiled rotten this weekend. Shout out to The Mumster. We'll be celebrating Mother's Day next week in the best way possible: College Boy's graduation. Can't wait!

Here are some ideas from last week's party that you can still whip up for Mother's Day!

This looks good enough to eat right? DON'T! But even if you don't like or drink coffee, this is a delicious and indulgent treat perfect for pampering yourself or to give in a pretty jar as a gift. Whipped Mocha Scrub from Woods of Bell Trees.

If you need some last minute creative Mother's Day gift packaging, you might check out this idea from Much More Creative

If you have a Mom to Be or a new Mom in your life, here is a wonderful and practical gift idea from Logan Can. One of my cousins sent me something similar when College Boy was born and it was the absolute BEST gift I received.

This week's chocolate feature is an adult beverage I've been wanting to try . How about a Chocolate Martini from The View From In Here

Now on to this week's party!

BFF Open House Link Party #205

The Answer Is Chocolate

I blink and it's Friday eve again. Seriously I am living the movie Groundhog Day which will continue for a while and I want to thank you all for continuing to link up despite the fact that I have had NOTHING to share on the blog lately :(

Some fun ideas from last week's party!

Heather from Woods of Bell Trees just never runs out of brilliant ideas. I mean never. Would you have guessed that these gorgeous cups were made using temporary tattoos? I have seen these tattoos when I manage to make it out of my home office  lately but  would not have thought of putting them on drinkware!

I think those tattooed cups would look great on this coffee table tray from 24 Cottonwood Lane. How crisp and fresh is this?

I adore this end table makeover from Kris at Aurora Patina! You really have to see the table she started with to get this incredible result. Tres chic!

OK I have a spoiled rotten dog but this pet bed from Artsy VaVa takes things to an entirely new level. It has a CHANDELIER...a chandelier people. Again, you need to go see the before to be even more impressed with the after.

OK now on to this week's party!

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday eve everyone! Fridays cannot come soon enough for me these days. Unfortunately it seems neither can Mondays! But enough of a breather this week to share some features from last week's party and the week before!

Let's start with this great door decor from Lemons and Laughs featuring adorable little rain boots. I've seen rain boot planters but using kid size boots you can decorate your front door.

I see another trip to the hardware store trying to explain that I'm not planning to use their stuff for its intended purpose. Love this wine bottle vase idea from A Woman's Haven

How much fun are these animal jars from Woods of Bell Trees? You could have so much fun with different themes.

For this week's chocolate feature, Mint Oreo Rice Krispies Treats! A mouthful to say and a mouthful to enjoy!  Visit Purple Patch DIY for the recipe.

Now let's see what you've been up to this week !

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday Eve all. Hope everyone had a wonderful and lucky St. Patrick's Day! Easter will be upon us before you know it. Here are some ideas from last week's party to pin and try!

While we've had a mild Winter, I know most of the country is more than ready for Spring. Artsy VaVa has a perfect way to get ready with this Spring wreath.

With Spring and more outdoor sports and play, boo boos are bound to happen. A Creative Princess shared these adorable "Boo Boo Bunny" ice packs. Who wouldn't feel better immediately with one of these?

This wood bead garland from Woods of Bell Trees would be perfect for a Spring mantle or draped around anything. I love the combination of the wood beads and mini lights.

This week's chocolate feature is from Gator Mommy Reviews . Classic chocolate and peanut butter combo. Perfection.

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday eve and Valentine's weekend everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful day/weekend and of course one filled with lots and lots of chocolate!

It's not too late to add an extra Valentine's touch (and never to late to pin for next year) so here are a few ideas from last week's party:

I keep seeing gorgeous paper straws everywhere and Southern Scraps has a quick , inexpensive, and easy way to use them in a project. Check out this DIY frame idea here: Southern Scraps

Like Heather from Woods of Bell Trees I like to have decor that works for a holiday like Valentine's Day but also goes with my overall decor. This  felt flower "transitional" wreath is perfect. Details here: Woods of Bell Trees

Printables are always perfect for last minute decorating. This eye chart printable from Antonella at Quilling Art and Expression is great for Valentine's Day or just because. Visit Antonella here: Quilling Art and Expression

If you're whipping up something special for your Valentine, you want to check out this week's chocolate feature:

Chocolate Peanut Butter Trifle (yes please) from Upstate Ramblings.

Now onto this week's party!

BFF Open House Link Party #194

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday eve and welcome to the last BFF Open House of January. I'm hardly what you would call a football fan, but hometown pride is contagious so I'm excited to watch the Seahawks in the SB ( sorry Pats fans...gotta root for the hometown team).

Valentine's Day will be here imminently so this week's features have a theme. Let's start with these gorgeous treat bags from Bonnie at The Pin Junkie:

Sarah from Ruffles and Rainboots shared how to make a Celtic knot using paracord, something that has so many possibilities from using it in a jewelry piece, or as an embellishment on a pillow or as she did in a garland.

I recently saw a big glass growler and resisted it because I wasn't sure what I'd do with it ( not a beer drinker !) but Heather from Woods of Bell Trees has solved that. See her take on a Ballard Designs inspired project:

And how could I not feature these brownies which are perfect for this weekend? From Simple Recipes Club:  Victory Brownies ! Whichever team wins, these will be a hit.

Now onto this week's party !

BFF Open House Link Party #179

The Answer Is Chocolate

Happy Friday Eve all! Welcome to another party here at The Answer Is Chocolate. Some wonderful ideas linked up at last week's party. I hope when you link up you're visiting each other. Here are some highlights:

From Crafty Journal, make a mini Halloween themed Pocket Book using just one sheet of scrapbook paper.

Heather from Woods of Bell Trees has a wonderful series going called  "Party In A Box" . So many ways to adapt this from parties, showers, housewarming, just because. It is a great idea for prime gift giving season!

Over at ArtsyVaVa, you'll see that the creative apple didn't fall far from the tree. Check out this table that her son made! How cool is this?

This week's chocolate feature is perfect for your Halloween dessert table. Best of all there's absolutely no way to mess it up!

Halloween Cookies and Scream bark from Life With The Crust Off

Now, on to this week's party!
