HAPPY NEW YEAR Creative Peeps! I hope everyone rang in the New Year safe, warm and dry. The weather has been crazy all over the country. Ours was typically quiet and I think we marked the New Year somewhere around London time!

Each start of the year since I retired a couple and a half years ago has been to focus on my blog, branding, etc.  And each of those years have brought some other life realities into my life that have derailed things. So I'm determined that in 2023, I'm going to achieve this goal.

I have succeeded in upping my creative game by attending more workshops and seminars so let me share this one that's coming up. If you're interested in working with SVGs (Scalable Vector Graphics" and learning more about them, then you want to check out the FREE SVG Crafters Summit which will take place Janauary 12-14.

Thanks for understanding my oops in getting last week's party up. Even not working, the holidays messed with my brain schedule. Let's take a look at some of the ideas shared and again, thank you for sharing your creativity here throughout 2022 and I can't wait to see what you all have in store for 2023!

This Magical Forrest Vase shared by Love My Little Cottage is perfect to stay up throughout Winter.

The House on Silverado shared another wonderful Winter transition project with this Winter Scene Terarrium.

If you need a Thank You card and/or want to learn a new papercrafting technique, this card from Paper Seedlings does the trick!

Finally, one thing I definitely want to do more of in 2023 is thrifting. If I'm lucky enough to find a gorgeous frame to work with like the one Masterpieces of My Life did here with the framed music sheet, I'll be ecstatic.

Alright...let's get 2023 off to a creative start!

Happy Friday Eve and Happy December Creative Peeps! Can you believe it? This is the month we were made for! I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving and all leftovers have been taken care of. It was both wonderful and strange not to have to deal with that this year since we ran away. It was a wonderful escape getaway and may become a new tradition.

I made my first Christmas gift for the place where we board our furbaby here: Pet Ornament and Card and started working on Hanukkah gifts this week. I finished this year's holiday cards before our trip so now I just have to get them in the mail. Will share those as soon as they're off.

Now, let's see some of the wonderful ideas you shared at last week's party!

The thing I love about fellow Creatives is the ability to see ideas in things that have nothing to do with the finished project. Enter this brilliant Trio of Trees from found Thrift Store items shared by the appropriately titled My Thrift Store Addiction

Likewise, if you've got some silver spoons you've inherited or picked up while thrifting, check out this lovely idea from The House On Silverado that transformed them into Keepsake Spoon Ornaments!

It's card season and Paper Seedlings shared a gorgeous Snowflake Card. We must be on the same wavelength because I used some blues in my cards this year too!

Finally, after a busy day of Elfing, relax with this delicious Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cocktail from The Kitchen Is My Playground. Hot, or cold!

Thank you as always to everyone who linked up. A lot of busy people out there! Let's see what everyone's been up to this week.

Happy Friday Eve Creative Peeps! Can you believe Thanksgiving (American) is one week from today? You know what happens after that. It's full steam ahead for Christmas and Hanukkah. I'm almost done with this year's Christmas cards since for the first time in thirty years, I won't be hosting Thanksgiving. We're actually going away which will be completely different yet exciting for us. I loved doing it and with my Martha Stewart compulsions, always did it big, but last year when it was just the two of us for the first time...my mom was visiting her sister, we didn't have any other family to host since moving to AZ etc. I realized by not doing all the work how much work it really always was. No complaints! I loved all the years I did it but life is about trying something new and I'm actually really excited about it. This week I shared the Thanksgiving Cards I made and sent to family and friends.

Let's take a look at some of the great things shared at last week's party!

If this is your first time hosting or you would like to be better organized, then Blue Sky At Home has the perfect thing for you with 21 Ways to Prepare.

Whether your guests are young, older, or everywhere in between, this printable Thankful Tree from Creatively Beth is a great way to entertain them and make a memory.

As we get close to counting down to Christmas, I LOVE this Advent Calendar for Couples from The House on Silverado

Finally, while we're still on Thanksgiving, if you want to add a little something to your dessert table (and I'm all for adding chocolate to Thanksgiving which is the most chocolate free celebration) or bring a dessert where you're going, check out these Nutter Butter Acorns from Drugstore Divas

Thanks to everyone who linked up and let's see what you've been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve once again friends! This week seems to have flown by for no particular reason. It feels like Monday was yesterday. Then again, I saw a meme that was so accurate which said when someone says 30 years ago I think the 70s when they meant the 90s. The years fly by!

This week I shared some jewelry gifts I made for friends for "Spooky Season". I love that so many fun beads and charms are available.

And of course, you all were up to your usual creative brilliance with the projects shared at last week's party so let's take a look at some of those!

I adore this "Spooktacular" Bone Appetit Tablescape from Masterpieces of My Life! What an elegant ghostly setting!

This Chandelier Witch Hat would go so well with the Bone Appetit Tablescape, wouldn't it? From Thrifting Wonderland

If you're not big on Halloween and/or as you start to plan a transition to Thanksgiving, these Copper Pumpkins from The House on Silverado are perfect. Living in the "copper state" I'm planning on doing more copper for Thanksgiving.

Finally, if you're looking for an addition to your Halloween or Thanksgiving dessert table, check out this Pumpkin Nutella Earthquake Cake from Lamberts Lately. I was not familiar with an Earthquake Cake, so here's the definition shared with the recipe: "An Earthquake Cake is a fun way to integrate lots of different ingredients into one cake." Works for me!

Happy August, everyone. How it's already August, I don't know but here we are which means maker season is about to go into overdrive. Seeing more Halloween and even a little Christmas popping up in the stores and some of it is already on sale! Riddle me that.

This week I shared two more home decor projects. A Lamp and Mirror Makeover and some more DIY Wall Art in Shades of Blue

Some wonderful projects as usual were shared at last week's party so let's take a look at a few!

LOVE this transformation of a stand ashtray from The Apple Street Cottage .

Whether you have a box of maps you've collected or just grab some new ones. Creatively Beth has you covered with Three Ways to Use Recycled Maps.

If you want to get a headstart on Christmas cards, this one from Paper Seedlings is a stunner!

Maybe you've been gardening or picked up some Zucchini at a Farmer's Market. Here's a great way to use it and it doesn't hurt that it means getting more veggies in. Check out this Double Chocolate Zucchini Cake from The House on Silverado

Happy Friday Eve and end of July! The month's flown by and been a whirlwind getting moved in to our new home, unpacking etc. It's been a serious monsoon season this year with lots of rain, which is needed, and some amazing lightning light shows. It's also felt good to get back to being able to make some things. This week I shared another piece of DIY Modern Wall Art and have been playing with more.

As always, the projects shared at last week's party were inspiring and beautiful. Let's take a look at a few.

I've mentioned that I love combining modern and vintage. The Soiree Blog has an incredible roundup of re-purposed vintage sewing machine tables that do just this. I absolutely love this one with a natural wood top! They're all amazing.

Artsy VaVa shared this AMAZING Corner Cabinet transformation. The color is fabulously named Cactus!

Dragonfly Treasure shared this lovely Succulent Garden made using old cement trays (molds). Aren't they fabulous?!

Finally, I love pickles almost as much as I love chocolate. When I was little and we went to the deli, I loved the pickle barrel and the crunch of a good garlicky pickle. My husband laughs at me and pickles because I will just sit and eat them standalone. These, from The House on Silverado inspire me to actually make some!

Thank you to everyone who linked up and can't wait to see what you've all been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve all. Hope it's been a good week for everyone. It just officially turned Spring and we're already looking at temperatures up to 90 here in the desert. Not quite ready for that!  I forget that our seasonal transitions here are more like days vs weeks. Nonetheless, allergies always find us don't they? They've been giving me a heck of a time this week so I have not felt up to much creatively.

Some wonderful ideas shared at last week's party so let's take a look.

With Easter approaching I am in love with these Clothespin Carrots from Laura over at Me and My Inklings. How adorable are they and easy too!

Mr. Chocolate has a thing for clocks, watches, timepieces so this upcycled and transformed Serving Tray from The House On Silverado caught my eye! Can you ever have too many serving trays?

Another transformation...something I fantasized about as a little girl, is this amazing Book Nook from the aptly named Storyteller's Cottage! Who wouldn't want to curl up with a favorite read here?!

This time of year I become a fiend for Robins Eggs..the coated malted milk ball eggs? They've been my favorite Easter treat since childhood. I think I need to make them special storage like these adorable Bunny Treat Jars from Artsy Fartsy Mama and what a wonderful way to share some treats!

Thanks as always to everyone who linked up and now let's take a look at what everyone's been up to this week!
