BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve all! We made it through another week and I finally feel like my 2021 creative juices have started flowing. Check out my first 2021 project here. Thank you for your kind comments last week about my bestie who is doing a bit better day by day. We're not out of the woods yet so please continue to Mask Up and Wash Up! Let's take a look at some of the great ideas from last week!

If you are still in need of a 2021 calendar, then Common Sparrows has you covered with a Printable Shadowbox Calendar !

String Art is making a comeback and if you've never done it, it's easy, fun, and possibilities are endless. Love My Little Cottage has a great step by step tutorial for this String Art Heart and you're only limited by your imagination in what you want to make. So many shapes lend themselves to it.

With Valentine's Day approaching, COVID still raging and all of us continuing to stay close to home, I thought this post from 3 Winks Design was perfect! And it includes some ideas for Newlyweds and "Oldlyweds" (a new term I'll be adopting) like me!

For a special Valentine's breakfast or anytime, these Cheddar Swirl Bacon Biscuits from Morsels of Life would be a fabulous addition. Cheese and bacon wrapped in a yummy biscuit? Oh yes please!

Thank you to everyone who linked up and let's take a look at what you've been up to this week!

BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve ( thank goodness for calendars because otherwise I'm not sure I'd know which day it was!). Hope you've all had a peaceful, healthy, and creative week! I'm excited to start working on some Thanksgiving inspired projects I can't wait to share. My most recent Halloween themed creation is here: Skull Earrings and Bracelet

If we're not already following each other on Instagram, I'd love to make sure I'm following you all.

Let's take a look at some of the inspiring ideas from last week's party!

Just because I've been on the hunt for them, I haven't found any more of those foam Dollar Tree pumpkins but Jasmine from Eccentricities by JVG did and I absolutely LOVE what she did with them! Perfect to leave up now through Thanksgiving.

This colorful, poured, and hand lettered Hey Boo sign from Kristie at Love My Little Cottage is all kinds of perfect!

Mary Jo from Masterpieces of My Life shared how she updates this awesome birdcage seasonally. I love pieces that can change from season to season.

Finally, tis the season for all things pumpkin and while I confess to not being a fan, as my blog name tells you, I am a fan of chocolate. So these Bakery Style Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies from 3 Winks Design just may convert me because they look amazing!

Thanks to everyone who linked up!

Let's see what everyone's been up to this week.

BFF Open House

NOTE: Hi all, I'm having some issues w/ the Inlinkz code formatting

Welcome back all! Hope you've had a wonderful week. Between the ongoing pandemic, the wild fires in the West and the tropical storms/ hurricanes in the South, I hope this is a space to take a break from the news and look at some pretty things. To all those in affected areas, my thoughts for your safety.

Here are some of the things that caught my eye from last week's party and as always, thank you for sharing your creations here at The Answer Is Chocolate.

This week I shared some Mackenzie Childs inspired pumpkins and Paint Poured Halloween Canvases

First up, some gorgeous Upcycles from The House on Silverado. I love how paint can transform the whole look and feel of a piece!

Virginia from Artsy Va Va is back with another amazing paint project. LOVE the colors she chose for this Wood Barn Quilt.

How much fun are these Spooky Tree Halloween Vans and perfect for now through October from Love My Little Cottage?!

Finally, even though the temperature remains above 100 degrees here in the desert. the calendar says it's time for Fall treats. 3 Winks Design has got you covered with these gorgeous and yummy Hot Chocolate Bombs!

Now let's see what everyone's been up to this week!

BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve all. Do Monday holidays throw you off as much as they do me? I am always confused the rest of the week. Hopefully you all had a peaceful long weekend last weekend and here we are coming up on another weekend and JUNE?! How did that happen?

Would you believe this gorgeous jewelry box is a book?! I absolutely love the idea and the colors that Anita from Unique Creations by Anita used to create it. Just gorgeous!

How much fun would it be to run around in custom painted runners / sneakers / tennis shoes..whatever you call them in your neck of the woods? These are so cute! Shared by Love My Little Cottage

If you're not headed to the beach any time soon, maybe you can bring the beach to you via online ordering or things you might already have on hand? Love this beachy tablescape from Whispers of The Heart

True confession time. I do not love Rice Krispies Treats! I know....then nerve! BUT...these Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Rice Krispies Treats could just change that forever! YUM from The Kitchen Is My Playground !

BFF Open House Link Party

Happy Friday Eve and not sure how it's already the end of January already. Hope you've all had a creative week and those of you watching the big "Sportsball" game are ready.

Let's take a look at some ideas from last week's party!

Even if you think you're not a jewelry maker, you can make this cute Valentine's Charm Necklace shared by The DIY Dreamer. How fun would these be for Moms, Sisters, Daughters Grandmas etc.? So many possibilities and easy to find supplies!

Another fun thing to make for yourself or to give as a gift ( Galentine's / Valentine's Day) is a lip scrub like this DIY Orange and Brown Sugar one from Kiku Corner.  They are so great for exfoliating and getting that dead skin off, making your lips ready for moisturizing and of course, kissing!

I see lots of creative Hot Cocoa bars around the holidays and love this Chocolate 'n Chintz Valentine's Coffee Corner from Love My Little Cottage . There's something for everyone. Coffee lovers, chocolate lovers, neither, both!

And finally, wouldn't these Valentine's Sugar Cookies be perfect in that Coffee Corner? From Two Chicks and a Mom

OK now let's see what you've all been up to this week!

Happy Friday Eve all. Hope all of my US Chocoholic Peeps had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I really love having a day that's not about presents etc. but just to be with family and/or friends and be thankful for the good things in our lives. Life is so short!

And YIKES! Christmas is 20 days from today ( I won't be ready!) and Hanukkah only 17 days away. Here are some ideas from last week's party to make or pin!

While presents might have to wait until the 25th, these can be made and put up now and year after year. DIY Wood Plank Presents from DIY Vibes.  Perfect for indoors or out.

Much to Mr. Chocolate's chagrin, I love glitter. If you cut me, I will bleed some combo of chocolate and glitter! These Glitter Tags from White House Crafts would make any present pop! Plus, Antonella has some other really cute glitter ideas on her sidebar.

I am also "mad for Buffalo Plaid"  and it's everywhere! When we were at Disneyland a few weeks ago, they had so many cute things. 3 Winks Design has us covered with all kinds of ideas including how to paint it which is something that's always been a challenge for me!

It's a stocking. It's a wreath. It's a stocking wreath! Whatever you call it, call it so festive and pretty. From Love My Little Cottage

BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve all and as we get ready to celebrate Halloween, I'm good and scared. You know why? Because Christmas is two months from tomorrow! EEEEEEEEEK!

Lots of fun Halloween ideas shared at last week's party though so before I get ahead of  myself, let's take a look at some of those.

Once again I am in love with a Halloween Tablescape. This one in black and white from Whispers of the Heart. I'm allergic to cats but could definitely do these!

If you don't want to do a whole tablescape, this Haunted House centerpiece from Love My Little
Cottage is so cute!

Check out this Howling Great Wreath from Satsoma Designs. I absolutely love it!

3 Winks Design has some fabulous printable Halloween tags you can download . Perfect for goodie bags or your treat table.

Finally, our furbabies love treats too. I've been wanting to make some treats for our pup and these look perfect! From (and I love the name of this blog) I Have Plans With My Dog
