Happy Friday Eve all! Hope you've had a great week. Unfortunately, here in the desert we continue to spike in COVID cases, now leading the nation which is not a goal I think we ever wanted to achieve :(

Needless to say, sticking close to home which means more creative time. My most recent project and new addiction is here: New Addiction Modern Quilling

Let's take a look at some ideas from last week's party! 

Unique Creations by Anita shared this FABULOUS Steampunk Lamp. So cool for an Industrial look or accent piece. I've seen similar pieces at Art Fairs for a lot of money so being able to make your own is wonderful using assorted plumbing pieces and ephemera in your stash. 

If you can't get to the beach, maybe you have some shells around the house or can order some online to bring a little of the beach inside like Lisa from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S did. The combination with succulents is indeed a fresh take! 

This Exfoliating Whipped Soap from Eccentricities by JVG looks good enough to eat ( so if you have littles in the house you might want to put out of reach!). Make a batch for yourself or what great gifts they'd make. 

I can't get this picture bigger w/out getting it blurry but couldn't resist featuring this Snickers Martini from Cindy's Online Recipe Box. This is definitely meant to be consumed!

BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve all. Hope you've had a good week. We continue to spike in COVID cases here so I guess I'll be making a few more masks since we continue to not go out very much. Frustrating to say the least how few people continue to take this seriously. Anyway, let's take a look at some ideas shared last week!

Let's start with this very chic and easy pillow shared by Lisa from Fresh Vintage by LisaS using a Kitchen Towel she bought online! 

Since we're all spending more time at home these days, this colorful patio makeover idea from Hannah at Handmade Weekly caught my eye. 

With Father's Day coming up, Lou Lou Girls has a great roundup of ideas for Father's Day, some traditional and non-traditional !

Finally, and wouldn't this make a fun Father's Day dessert, Cindy's On Line Recipe Box shared this :

Giant Fudge Chocolate Brownie Donut Cake! Yes please!

BFF Open House

Happy Friday Eve all. Thanks for all of your supportive comments last week. There was a huge work project that was not going as smoothly as the people who dreamed it up thought it was going to go. This week's been a bit quieter :) 

Here are some ideas from last week's party! 

If you're looking to add to your outdoor decor (or this could work for inside as well) South House Designs has a fabulous tutorial on how to DIY Cement Bird Baths using all kinds of things you may have in your stash, or around the house! 

Sharing some more mask ideas from Sew Crafty Crochet and I absolutely love this choice of fun fabrics! 

Speaking of sewing, Condo Blues shared this very timely post on Sewing Tips and Tricks. My skills are limited but I have been cranking out masks. At least I was until my machine said "um no" and my new one arrives tomorrow so I'll be referring to these to make sure I take great care of it! 

Finally, for weeks like last week especially, or anytime, I think I need one of these Chocolate Nutty Fudge Martinis from Cindy's Online Recipe Box.
